Are Fandroids Really Just Samsung And Nexus Fan

Who else is fed up with Fandroids?

You know who I'm talking about, fandroids are those people (typically teenagers) that have a Samsung galaxy and always brag and brag about their 5 inch screen, NFC, bootyhole, etc.

I'm sure the Samsung galaxy is a great phone but that doesn't mean the Apple sucks.
I Have several Apple products and the fandroids be like, "you have no idea how stupid you are" and "iPhone users are tainty brainless sheep".

Like wtf just because I like Apple products doesn't make make me a sheep. Apple isn't perfect and neither is the samsung galaxy.

Besides, do any of the fandroid even USE the samsung features they brag about (NFC?) mostly they just use it to get on Forums and brag about their 6 inch screen and bash Apple.

CANT WE LIVE IN PEACE?

Peace and blessings.

What was Apple’s contribution to touchscreen mobile phones?

Apple literally invented the touchscreen mobile phone/smartphone as we know it today. Before iPhone, most “smartphones” looked like ugly Blackberries and were extremely un-user friendly and just a pain to use. The iPhone was so revolutionary because it got rid of everything physical except for volume buttons, silencing switch, lock button, and the home button. It was all screen. Not to mention the other new and cool technologies at the time. So before the “Fandroids” get on their high horses, remember that it was only after the first iPhone that Samsung started the Galaxy S line and than Google made its first smartphone-looking Nexus Phone. Thanks for asking me to answer!

Why do some people prefer iPhones over Androids if Apple limits what you can do and what you can’t do?

Personally I am an Android fan, but I can see how the idea of IOS can seem appealing to the average user.First of all - simplicity. You've got all your apps on your screen, you have very self explanatory names with really easy user interfaces. You usually have everything you need on your phone when you get it and it will probably stay that way unless you want to download something from the app store. Also, consistency. Now before you hang me, allow me to state my argument. They have always had very simmilar design, if you compare the very first iPhone to the iPhone X, the difference is massive, but if you look from generation to generation, not much had changed except for small size increeses and some thickness reduction, they kept the idea of the iPhone, and modified every upcoming generation just a bit so now 10 years after it's original release, we have 2 different phones.3rd - special apps. For example, iMesaage. This one app is the reason so many people still use the iPhone. When the iPhone came out,vit was the first of it's kind, and so it attracted a lot of costumers, they bought the phone and started using iPhone exclusive apps like imessage and they text to all their friends with that one app. This prompted the people to think “if this Samsung device is better and cheaper then the iPhone, there is no real reason not to buy it, BUT I don't have iTunes or iMessage or this or that on there, so I guess I will spend the extra 200 bucks and buy the iphone”. Now imagine this, Android stopps supporting Instagram. You know you use that app for your day to day life, right. So as an Instagram user, you will seek a platform that supports it, and that would be IOS, or it could be goldfish or another 3rd party os.And finally, people being afraid of change. This is fairly self explanatory, people don't want to change what had worked for them for these years, why? Even if the other option is much better, they don't want to risk it, and they don't want to go through the process of relearning how to navigate your device. This might sound stupid to some of you, but do remember that there are a lot of people who don't know much about phones and can't really find their way around the phone. This would be a real nightmare for them.I still think Android is the way to go, you have more freedom, they are much more flexible, they support a whole lot of phones, TVs and tablets, they are much more universal and they are dominating the market (Xiaomi, Samsung, Huawei…)
