Are Genericc Video Drivers Better Than Custom Video Drivers

THOUGHTS...Is it better to buy name brand golf clubs, generic size, or no name custom fit clubs?

Either way you decide to go you should get the irons custom fit. For some reason the golf consumer believes that name-brand clubs off the rack are "better." This is simply false.

If the average Joe could witness the hours of tweeking that go into a touring pro's clubs, then they'd realize that it's not the name on the clubhead, it the custom fitting that makes it all work.

To get everything just right, your swing has to be analyzed either with computer or by lots of experimentation or, preferably, by both.

A book that you may benefit greatly from is Tom Wishon's "The Search for the Perfect Golf Club." (See link 1)

See link 2 for a quick Q&A discussing custom clubfitting.

No, I do not work for nor am I associated with Wishon Golf in any way, shape, or form. I actually play a set of Golfworks irons, TaylorMade driver (a gift...would never have spent that much on a driver), and a SeeMore putter (like Payne Stewart's).

What will happen if I reset my PC, and the NVIDIA graphics driver got deleted?

Thanks for A2AThe answer is: nothing, you will have to go download the drivers if you want to play games, though!RESETTING THE PC: WHAT WILL WINDOWS DO?Windows will delete ALL files if you choose to do a clean install, so make a backup of important files etc and put it on something like a USB memory stick! After you’ve reset the machine, you will not have any issues, as windows works just fine without any sort of drivers, but you DO need to install them if you want your games to run well! Windows tends to install drivers more often than not (especially windows 10) for you while you are using the machine, but be warned: These drivers can be a bit old, so I would still recommend you to go and install the latest ones!WHAT ARE DRIVERS?In computing, a device driver is a computer program that operates or controls a particular type of device that is attached to a computer. A driver provides a software interface to hardware devices, enabling operating systems and other computer programs to access hardware functions without needing to know precise details of the hardware being used.Yes, this was ripped from Device driver - Wikipedia because they said it pretty well.WHERE DO YOU DOWNLOAD THEM?Drivers | GeForceThis is NVIDIA’s Driver page on their website, you’ll have to pick what GPU you have etc to download the correct driver, or let NVIDIA do it for you via their own “auto detect” or simply download GEFORCE experience and download the drivers that way.I hope this helps you!Feedback is always nice!

What are the different types of movie files and video files?

Movie Files maybe one of the following:
1. DivX: The DivX Codec is popular due to its ability to compress lengthy video segments into small sizes while maintaining relatively high visual quality. It is one of several codecs commonly associated with ripping, where audio and video multimedia are transferred to a hard disk and transcoded.

2. AVI - meaning Audio Video Interleaved is a compression system provided by Microsoft. Sometimes AVI files are also called as RIFF (The abbreviation is not that very important!). This video can be played as is on the Windows Media Player 11.0.

3. Is another encoding method - based on previous lossy versions of MPEG-1 and MPEG 2.

These are the main types of video files.

The types of audio files are:
MP3 - Most widely used
mp3PRO, AAC, and MP2 - are older versions of MP3.
WMA - Windows Media Audio - Provided by Microsoft. Newer versions include WMA Pro.
WAV - is a Microsoft and IBM audio file format standard for storing audio on PCs. Has no comrpession alogrithm to it.

I have a custom built (gaming) PC which has issues with booting. Almost every first time of the day I start my PC up, it randomly freezes at some point. When I reboot my PC after that, it usually works fine 9/10 times. What is causing the problem?

Is your PSU powerful enough for everything?  Is it good, meaning have you tested it with a tester?  You don't mention the PSU.What diagnostics have you run on the hardware?  New hardware can arrive from the distributor/retailer in a defective state.  You could have a piece of bad hardware.Have you nuked the system and built it again from the ground up?  How did you do it differently the second time?  Does it all operate pefectly until you install the video drivers?  Have you built the OS and driver stack slowly, with plenty of reboots and time spent between driver installation packages, so you can determine if installing the proper drivers for certain hardware causes the instability.  Not to harp on the GPU... but many times if the video card is at fault, it will appear to cause no issues until you install the drivers it wants (It uses default Standard generic video drivers until you install specific ones).  This could also be the case for the onboard network, or even the chipset drivers for the motherboard. What is causing the problem?  IMPOSSIBLE to say based on available information.  Have you checked the Windows error logs to see what the software is telling you? Here's the deal.  Either you break it all down and start again, taking your time to note everything and anything, and making sure you handle it all one step at a time.... testing everything as you go... or you bring it to a shop and let them repair it.Or you contact the company you bought it from, and have them tell you what to do next.

What will happen if I uninstall my Intel HD Graphics?

If you kind of like me and has 2 Graphics card (one in integrated and the other one is an nvidia card) don’t uninstall it becouse you can’t edit the nvidia settings. If you dont have an another card just an integrated, i don’t know whats gonna happen i din’t experiented it. Maybe it’s don’t gonna let you uninstal, or the screen is gonna be black if you uninstal it.
