Are Good Looks Regain-able

Lost ability of lucid dreaming. How can I regain this ability?

When I was younger (10 through mid-teens) I found myself curiously able to fully control my dreams while I slept. I can vividly remember putting myself in any situation or any body or form I desired (in several instances I made myself turn into a dragon), and I also remember being aware I was dreaming. It was a peculiar talent and I never gave it much thought until I lost the ability.

Some time around the ages of 16-17, it just stopped completely. I can barely remember my dreams, and when I do dream, I certainly have no control. I am 21 years old now. Thinking back on these events, I did a bit of research today just to satisfy my own curiosity and learned that what I could do naturally as a child was called lucid dreaming, or the ability to control and manipulate dreams. Apparently some people have to learn how to do this, but as a child and adolescent, it came to me naturally somehow?

At any rate, I was just wondering if anyone could offer any input on how I could regain this ability. :) It was a very interesting experience and I would love to have it back. I'm very open minded and I think I could re-learn the ability easily since I've already been able to in the past! Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

How can you regain the ability to get an erection?

before i started masturbating, i could get erections from looking at a woman's body. but i started masturbating every day, and now i can barely get erections from being around girls. It's been a year doing the same thing. I want to stop masturbating, but will I ever be able to get erections again from looking at pictures?

Will we ever be able to regain a sense of privacy in our lives?

I still use maps! I went to Western Australia not too long ago. Flew into Perth airport. Hooked up my smartphone/GPS. Instantly got directions out of there. It was great! For about 30 minutes before the data was all chewed up.Then further out away from the city, some places you just can't rely on phone signals being there. So there is no way I use GPS to seriously navigate. Because if and when the batteries run out, it's worse than getting a real paper map wet (and you can always waterproof them)Why would I want to look at a tiny 2 or 3" screen when I can unfold something real and have the equivalent size of a 50" paper-thin flat screen right there in front of me?Anyway. Just don't assume no one uses real maps anymore. ;-)But what you are really asking about is privacy. No I don't like the idea of GPS data in everything. I started to wonder about this when I took a few street photos with GPS EXIF data in them and uploaded them to flickr. So I don't do that anymore. I always turn off my GPS. It saves the battery also.I just finished reading 1984 this year and I don't like the big companies knowing where I am and tracking what I'm doing on or (worse) offline.

True or False,After the war,Sparta was able to regain its military strength?

After when? The fight with the Persians? Yes. The were a military threat for a long time afterwards. Remember only 299 men died in the pass from the main knights. After The Peloponnesian war, Sparta rule for about 34 years until the battle of Leuctra in 371 BC where they were defeated by the Thebans. After the battle of Chaeronea (338 BC) Phillip of Macedon marched through the Peloponnese, welcomed by all the cities but when he reached Sparta they refused him to enter. Phillip did not try to take by force the city and left. Sparta was the only Greek city that did not take part in the League of Corinth, which was formed in 337 BC, under Macedonian control.

In 206 BC, the tyrant Nabis, a descendant of Demaratos, who had fled in Persia in 490 BC, took the throne. An able but ruthless man, he confiscated the properties of the wealthy and gave them to the poor. By setting free slaves, he managed to acquire an army of 10,000 men and he also extended his social reforms to Argos. It was Nabis who foreseeing the incoming dangers fortified Sparta for the first time in her history.
When the Roman commander Flamininus invaded Laconia and laid siege to Sparta, after a few days of fighting a non honorable truce was accepted by Sparta, in which was loosing all the Perioikic cities on the coasts and her fleet.
Later with the pretence of helping Sparta, the Aitolians sent a thousand soldiers to kill Nabis and secure Sparta. They managed to kill him but they all were massacred from the Spartans. After Nabis assassination, Sparta was forced by Philopoemen to become a member of the Achaean league. Her walls were razed and the laws of Lykurgos repealed.
Under the Romans in the 2nd century AD, Laconia as a province of Achaea was allowed to revert to a Lykurgian regime.
In 396 AD, the city was destroyed by Alaric.
In the 9th century AD, the Slavs invaded and the population was forced to migrate to Mani.
The Byzantines refound a town and named her Lacedaemonia but her importance had been lost by 1248 AD and disappeared from history totally, by 1834 AD.
Today the city of modern Sparta occupies the very same territory of the ancient city.

Why haven't the great Muslim empires been able to regain their former glory?

Empires are all well and fine for those who are among its ruling classes, but not great for the peoples oppressed by empires.Empires of whatever nation are no longer acceptable. What did Muslim countries think of the Europeans ruling them? I bet the Muslims thought that was jolly good fun!You need to read some history and discover not only that there were many revolts against various Muslim Empires. There were rival Muslim empires too that fought against each other.

How long will it take to regain dance ability and strength after 3 weeks of illness?

I've been dancing for 16 years in tap, ballet, and jazz. Recently though I got very sick and was forced to stop practicing almost completely for 3 weeks. So now with those weeks of pretty much no practice ( where I usually practice between 15-20 hrs a week), I was just wondering how much of my ability/strength I've lost. Also, how long it will take to regain it back. I was able to stretch a little during that time but that was about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

Can a 34 year old, 5'9 person regain his jumping ability?

couldn't hurt to try. if you don't get the results you want, you shouldn't throw in the towel. when i was younger i could get rim with both hands off of 3 steps ( i was/still am 6' even). i have put on about 50lbs since then and have only recently been playing (city league) and working out/running. i was at 220lbs at the start and could barely get backboard and am now down to 203 and can get a fingertip on the rim. one good thing about it is that my shooting is much better! as long as you're still healthy to work out and stay committed, you should be able to get rim again. look into those strength shoes (check www.eastbay.com) and maybe give them a try.
