Will a preschool size 5 fit my size 4 in womens?
his is very confusing but here it goes , im a 17 year old girl, my shoe size is 4 in womans , like for Jordans,convers and so on . My problem is that i want a timberland boot but online i cant find size 4 for them. But i came across timberland size 5 for boys grade school. Im not sure what grade school is really suppose to mean, like elementary or something. I am a size 8.5- 9 in women's shoes, and am looking to purchase the Nike Air Force 1 Low in boy's grade school size (less expensive) for my upcoming birthday, I was wondering what size I should get, I heard you should go a size down with the AF1's but still am not sure because they are boy's sizes. I would try them on in store, but there are no stores around me with the size I am looking for.

A long time ado I was a salesman for local shoe chain. The length equivalent for a women’s 8.5 is a 7, However there is a difference in widths. A mans normal width is a D, while a ladies is a B, so if the woman;s foot is normal width for a lady, the mens 7 will be too wide. I have an interesting story about this in reverse. One time I served a lady with her tween age son he had a men’s size 7 length, but his foot was very narrow. I tried several pairs of men’s size 7 on him and all were too wide I then told them that there was an alternative. I grab 2 pairs pf ladies sized shoes one pair of boat shoes and a pair of penny loafers in a lsdies size 8.5B, the guy tried on both pairs and neither fell off his feet but stayed in place. Mom and son were both amazed.. Then I had to tell them that this was a woman’’s size. I explained the difference and showed the same shoe in a man’s style and eventually they agreed the styles were the same, and I sold a doubleheader two pairs. I also told them this option would only work up to size 8.5 in men’s length (women’s 10) as few ladies shoes come longer, This would not continue to be a problem, for once a mans length reaches 9, then B widths were available.

If you are talking about Jordans, Nike, or converse, sneakers along those lines then no. It usually is two sizes bigger converting back in to womens, For instance the 6.5 in kids or boys would be an 8.5 in womens. Sorry, but you might need to get a refund :/ Hope this Helps !

Certain brand names or styles of shoes like skater shoes for example tend to run extra wide already, so just be careful you aren’t slipping in and out and getting blisters from too much width. I swear by padded heel grips for comfort. Can find them still Payless I think. Something like 4 bucks, so worth it if it you’re just sliding a little! I don't know why people say that if you wear women's you can't fit into kids, cause you can. They say you subtract 2 from your size in women's. I get youth size shoes sometimes & found that 2 sizes down might be a little too small. Try a 6.5 and a 7, which is the largest that youth shoes come in.
