Are South Indians Caucasian?
My friend recently told me that North West Indians and Maharastrans are technically Caucasian. The thought had actually never crossed my mind before and I decided to do a little research of my own on the race South Indians, but I can't really seem to find much on us. Being Indo-American myself (my family is from the south) we look quite similar to North Indians despite us having an overall darker complexion (my family ranges from really light to really dark on both my mother's and father's sides). But I have also noticed that there are many Australoid peoples in the south as well, so what would that make us (we are of a higher caste, the Kamas, if that means anything)?

Native Australians would probably consider themselves as that. (definitely not white). Chinese, Koreans and Japanese (and others) would consider themselves as Asian. People from India and Pakistan probably consider themselves from that part of the world, or Asian. In many cases, there is a cultural difference between these groups. We can't exactly bundle people together from a USA point of view. Our Western cultures have their issues; which differ significantly from those with these eastern values. Certainly, I made a spectacle of myself when I have been to places like Taiwan, Hong Kong, Beijing and Osaka. I first visited Beijing in 1997 (before the Tienanmen Square incident). The cultural differences between the western tourists and the Chinese were very significant. By 1991, I had already learned about the "spectacle" of being so different, so when I was in Australia and ran in to a group of Japanese tourists, it was funny to be the center of attention for their many cameras. (I am not a movie star).
Are there south asian gang cultures in canada,US or london?
just wanted to know..:p...there are plenty of mexican drug mafias,white supremacists,neo nazis ,n****r gangs,Asian gangs etc etc.Is there is any gang culture among southasian/indo americans/canadians say punjabis,tamils, pakistanis,bangladeshis or others???
