How is Jamia Millia Islamia compared to DTU and NSIT?
Jamia Millia Islamia is a very nice college. Some of its branches have very experienced and able faculty members, who know very well how to give knowledge of their subject to the students. Also, it has increasing number of technical societies in which u can be a part of and try out ur skills in things apart from academics. Compared to DTU, i would say that placements are not as good but yes,academically it is at par. Being a Central University, it is better than NSIT. Overall, i would not be a wrong choice if u choose JMI for ur B.Tech. studies. All the best..!!
Is IGDTUW good for an MCA?
You can go for MCA in IGDTUW only if you are not able to reserve a seat at any of the NITs.Placements surely there are improving but don’t expect 10LPA for an MCA there. Average package is by far still 3.5 there for an MCA. IGDTUW is terrific for B.tech and the list of companies may mislead you and you might think 20–25 LPA companies come for MCA. This is not the case. Some companies will not allow MCA at all. Amazon and Directi allowed MCA last year which were by far offering the highest package there for an MCA (16 LPA ). You have to be really really good and competent enough to grab a job at these companies as B.tech and M.tech will also sit with you in placements.In terms of studies and faculty, all colleges are same. You have to inculcate a habbit of self-learning. College only teaches what is there in syllabus.
Is an MCA student eligible to do a PhD in computer science?
Hello there! Great that you want to do phd . You are obviously eligible to do it. I will just give you an idea of what must be done on your part.first, identify your area of interest- like neural networks, AI , operations research, etc. It could be anything. Next, identify the faculty who has a great name in that field. You can search online and ask your friends from various colleges. Identify atleast 3 or 4.track down the professor if your choice, send them a mail, requesting them about mentoring you for the phd. Add a short write up about why you want to do it, and what you are going to focus on in your thesis. This should impress them.once any one professor accepts you, start identifying a domain. Computer science is a field which can be mapped to all the domains in the world- banking, hospitals, etc . So identify a domain and start working things out with your mentor. once your professor has agreed to mentor you, you will have to join the college where that professir is working as a phd scholar with you chosen professor as your guide.Good luck! Is IGDTUW better than USICT or not?
Look i am studying in IGDTUW and i have friends in USCIT too. In my opinion IGDTUW is better -we all aspire for good placements, so let me tell you that we have 100% placements here.Highest package here last year was 20 laks which is far higher than USCIT.we have major companies here like microsoft, amazon, cisco, snapdeal etc.even we have campus recruitments for 3rd year interenships, so if you are good enough you can get pre placement too.the faculty i must say here is very good, cooperative, passionate about their work.the exposure here is better than USCIT.you will have a great time here and you will have a secure future.
What is your review of Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering, Delhi?
Technically ..I am currently in ECE. i had great expectations when i finally joined this college but those were just expectation and i am greatly dissapointed in almost every scenario from this college..I would like to tell you in details here they are-Infrastructure- Small campus but its not that bad.Faculty- A few teachers are good here, but most of them won’t leave any chance of humiliating you if you have low attendance technically, you have to get amazing buttering skills then you can survive. HOD’S , Lab assistants have got huge ego’s they won’t let you go empty handed but with whole some moral lectures about character to everything.Extra-curricular- I have a band in college and the lead singer told me that they had to arrange for a mic from their own money! what else is remaining to tell you about the activities.Academics- If you want to do something in like like CAT, GATE etc ..Dont worry they will put each and every barrier in your life ..PTM’S- Which college in the world arrange PTM and show your attendance, internal marks , character analysis to your parents ..they do it..Anything else is remaining ..well i have wasted my 4 yrs in this college ..and if you have been misguided about the placement record this college hold then let me tell you the reality currently form my class only 6 students have been placed form 60. rest has no chances..and that too have gone in TCS or consultancy forget CORE…!so ALL THE BEST if you are thinking to go to bvcoe you will have to pay for it in the next 4 yrs..like i did..!
What is your review of Manav Rachna International University?
MRIU is a curse on education system. This university is an outcome of sheer ignorance and faliure of Government. Except a massive infrastructure everything else if fake and unreal. I’ve been a faculty there. Also I was here during its NAAC accredition (2015), where in this plastic university was given A grade !! How overnight departments were raised, faculty was borrowed on per day basis, students were threatened to keep mum, fake power point presentations were uploaded, suddenly laboratories emerged and fake documents were synthesized, was a lifetime “munna bhai” experiencefor one and all. The top administrators- Bhallas are themselves curropt and not well educated. They too have magical PhD’s ! However few Deans and college board members are really genuine but under “Bhalla” administration they are wax statues. Students are ATM’s and have no chance to learn anything at all because the faculty is too poor and not upto the mark. If any teacher tries to teach and pursue hardwork, she is loaded with clerical work. Yes ! clerical work ! On sundays also a teacher may be ordered to visit college and undertake some clerical work. However “favorites” of HOD may relax on saturdays and sundays. Laboratories have just four walls, an incompitent lab assistant who is busy on mobile and if teacher asks for reagents or chemicals he directs you to HOD. HOD will inturn insult you for not ordering chemicals in time ! Now you are undertaking first class and how in the earth you know that laboratory has no facilities. The substandard authoroties are of no use to go and complaint. Students just kill there time and sit in canteen. Majority of teachers are busy with gossip with HOD and relish cups of tea. Also if a gang of teachers is busy with HOD over gossips, The Head may direct any teacher to go and take class !! Gurjeet Kaur Chawla was one such curropt HOD.
How is placement of mtech CSE in JNU?
In JNU MTech course is combined with PhD. That is you can continue in PhD after MTech if you want. Most of the students prefer this path instead of getting placed after MTech. In 3–4 year you will complete your PhD and you can get post of Assistant Professor easily in many prestigious universities.In JNU, MCA and MTech both students sit together for placement. You always have a chance to be placed. But package you will get might upset you.
Which one is better IPU or Jamia Millia Islamia?
I m ex-jamian & presently studying in IPU.. see IPU is a good university but JMI is much much better in evry field.It is central univ.Having a beautiful campus, concentrated all departments at one placeA well established organisation for take careHigh exposure & better placementAlso a good nearby area for livingHostels are well furnished & well orientedA heart touching environment& yes as said in above ans. That rare chances of non-muslims getting in is completely wrong. I dnt know about other courses but yes about b. Tech/b. Arch admission is done based on jee mains cut off so its totally upto u..
