How can I make my YouTube videos entertaining?

There are a variety of ways to make a YouTube video entertaining. I’ll share them here, but I’ve chosen to use your question as the topic for my daily Facebook Live Broadcast this afternoon, so tune if and I’ll answer it in detail there as well. This is my FB Page. Be The Hero StudiosIf you use a script, practice so you don’t sound scripted. Make it conversational.Edit out the slow parts. Don’t be afraid of using jump cuts to tighten things up. But be consistent with your editing style throughout. If you prefer fade transitions, use them throughout.Talk slightly faster than normal, and smile more. Practice talking with increased energy before you start recording.Tell your audience from the beginning what to expect in the video if they keep watching. Sometimes this is called a hook. If the title of the video is a searchable phrase, let the viewer know they found what they are looking for.For How To videos, keep your video on point, and deliver valuable content. Helpful videos can easily keep their attention for 10 or 12 minutes, if you are delivering really good content.You need to be comfortable in front of the camera. This is hard in the beginning, but the more you do it, the easier it gets. Try this; film your video once, then watch the recording and see how you did. Take note of what you can improve on, and film the entire thing over again.You can use pattern interrupts every so often, or occasionally tell them, “pay attention to this part.”Use editing magic in your video. This one takes a lot more preparation and editing time, but you can try snapping to change your shirt color. When you film, you’ll actually snap, then change your shirt, and then snap in the same position again. Then edit out the shirt change so that it looks like your shirt changed magically. I’m not saying you need to change your shirt in every video, just an example of a way to make your videos more exciting, and get your viewers attention.Hopefully that helps. How do you make a gaming video entertaining?

Honestly I am going to give you similar advice as the next guy.  Just be yourself and let your personality shine.  Also if you could partner with a company it would help.  Or if you were to get sponsored on a community channel it would also help.  Here's an example.  You make League videos and are growing slowly but surely.  You make an insane play and can send it over to a community channel that has a larger fan base which would give your videos much more exposure.  Also just make a lot of videos.  The more videos you make the more chances they have to reach a wider audience.  I don't mean put out as many half-assed videos as humanly possible.  Make them quality but put out as often as you feel comfortable to do so.  Maybe make an upload schedule.  You just gotta stay yourself, let your personality shine, and make videos.  Your channel will grow.  I promise.  What type of games do you play on the channel?

There are many qualities, which for me are essential in an entertaining video on any social platform (Facebook, YouTube)Originality- this is the most essential quality which should be present in every video. If you are not original, mark my words success will stay miles away from you. If you understand Hindi language then I recommend you to watch Bhuvan BAM Tedx appearance.Swearing- there are majority of people out there who think that swearing is the secret to success. I agree that there are many YouTubers who are successful and swear alot, but it's not like that. If you understand Hindi, go to YouTube and type “Raju Srivastava comedy” and watch his videos. This guy used to swear once in a blue moon and still he was amongst the people who were successful in their life.People should be able to relate- if you will show a funny video titled “ challenges faced when grown up” to a 10 year old, he will definitely not laugh for even 1 second.
