Why are my nipples still puffy?
I'm 14 and my cup size is a D. I ve noticed that only really flat chested girls complain about having puffy nipples, and so I thought that puffy nipples went away when your breasts grew. But mine are still here and is there anyway of getting rid of it?

Hi - there are lots of different types of nipples, all of them normal. You have flat nipples. It's possible that they will change a little, but at 16 I wouldn't be TOO hopeful. You need to accept yourself as you are, completely normal. Babies don't just feed from the nipple; they take a large mouthful of the surrounding areola as well. Pregnancy and breastfeeding can change the nipples certainly, but getting pregnant isn't a good reason to try and achieve this. Why are my nipples puffy?
When I was younger, my girlfriend had puffy nipples. She thought there was something wrong with her, since her nipples and areolae (the colored circle around your nipple) were puffy and stuck out. Even when her nipples were not hard, they were still puffy. There's nothing wrong with you (or her). It's just the way you are. Some nipples are puffy, some are flat, some are even inverted. Some are really huge, some are teeny tiny, and some are long. The media sells to us the idea that a "normal breast" is perfectly round, large, with only a little bump of a nipple. As old as I am, and as many girlfriends as I have had, I can tell you that the media's idea of "Normal" does not exist. Every woman is different, from facial features to breasts and legs and personality. Unfortunately, if you don't like them, there isn't really anything you can do about them, it's genetic. You can cut them off but I imagine that would be rather painful.

nothing is wrong. Your balls shrink when they are cold too. It is due to temperature. Come on now. My yorkie knew that.
When will my areola stop being so puffy?
ok so i just turned 16, im a D naturally but what bothers me is that my nipples are flat and my areola's protrude out...is there a certain age that its supposed to stop doing that? ive looked up everywhere but it doesn't say the age. are they still just growing?
