Are People These Days Less Pressured To Become Football Fanatics In England

Are football followers more intelligent than cricket fans in India?

Obviously Cricket. While football is all about field capturing and goals and only striker's records, cricket is more crucial, scientific and has a lot of maths and statistics involved.Imagine you kicking a ball/passing it to your team player, the result would be just 1. Successful, 2. Unsuccessful, 3. Opposition player grabbing it. But in cricket, a bowler has to go through a lot of pressure. Like he needs to first take care of his running, the way he holds the ball in his finger, the amount of force he'd use, the pre-determined bounce target on the pitch, the velocity of ball thrown, the turn, the pressure and the sledging. Even after all that, the output can be 1. Bowled, 2. Boundary hit, 3. Catch, 4. LBW, 5. Wide ball, 6. No ball, 7. Stump hit and what not. And the same complex scenario is for batsmen, bowlers, keepers, fielders and even umpires! Now coming back to your answer, a person who follows cricket would have statistics and probabilities keep running in his mind. Thou many people think it's a boring game, but that game can make a person think so much about the averages, statistics, success rates and multiple probabilities. Football can't provide so much brain teasing. In conclusion you have two games, one which has the most basic rules, most basic probabilities rates, most obsolete statics and is so generic that almost a dozen sports are played with same logic, While there's this complex game, which is 60% physical strength and 40% mental strength, bifurcated in to thousands of statistics and hundreds of graphs, which a common fan can use in his professional life. His mind is never numb, there would be mathematical formulas making out in his brains even if it's a test match! And there, you have your answer.

Do people feel that polo is abusive to horses?

People who say that do not understand the sport. THese are the same people that say a certain breed of horse is no good or that they always use a certain bit on every horse. their lack of education causes them to make unbased statements. It is the same thing as vegetarians that have leather interior in their car...they talk before they think. Some people feel that riding horses all together is abusive. I have had people take blankets of off my show horses, who are used to heat lamps, in the middle of winter because "it is not natural for a horse to wear a blanket." Horses are trained athletes, no matter what you use them for. The only way it could be considered "abusive" is if you were asking your horse to do somethingthat is is not physically capable of or is painful to do. the next time that someone says that, i would tell them "it is no more abusive than any other team sport".
