Best used station wagon under 15K?

Hi, we are selling our Honda Odyssey and want to buy a used wagon.
It should:
-cost under $15.000
-mileage under 60K
-be reliable
-not older than from 2006

Which wagon would you suggest?
Thanks

What are good subwoofers for a station wagon?

Oh nice. A friggen wagon. Well, let me tell you guy, brands don't mean ****. Hell, size hardly means anything (less true than the first statement) the only thing that REALLY matters (accounts for 90% of all SPL) is the enclosure. If you find someone who really knows what he's doing, he'll take no name subs and make them blow out taillights! My buddy just did that with his Lexus. 150.2 dB with two generic fifteens and a soundstream 550W amp. It's ALL about the enclosure. The amp is somewhat important, so as not to blow your subs by clipping (by the way, don't **** with the gain) or by imploding or setting fire.

Bottom line, brands don't mean anything, and it's only as disruptive as you want it to be. All about enclosure.

Do girls like guys who drive station wagons?

It's the best aphrodisiac out there!

Should I buy a VW Beetle or Type 3 station wagon?

I'm keen on getting aircooled VW, a 1971-75 model.
It appears by the 70s the Beetle was as fast as a type 3 and even using the same 1600cc engine.

On one hand, the later Superbugs ( Superbeetle in America) seem more civilised inside than a Type 3 but a type 3 Wagon can carry much more than a Beetle can.

Type 3s may ride better, I certainly remember early Beetles having a real vintage car ride.

It rally comes down to ether a padded dash, fishbowl windscrean, big tailight S/bug or an actually usable early 70 Type 3 wagon ( early type 3s had a smaller boot and swing arm suspension, I'm ruling them out)

I may just be in luck, some VW fans may read this and I'd love to get feedback from them.

Me buying a Beetle would be hard to justify but I've had many classic cars and buying a classic that's not much use to me is nothing new, while the wagon will be of real use and I'm qurious re how much you can pack into a Type 3 wagon.

I'm manly wondering about performance, handeling, ride and noise differences.

THANKS VW FANS!

How much would it cost to restore a 1963 Deluxe Station Wagon model Volkswagen Bus?

The model you mention, an early 60's deluxe VW Bus, would be VERY expensive. These are sought after due to their extra windows and opening sunroof. To find one that's beautifully restored, I dare say it would cost over $20,000. Maybe closer to $30,000 Finding one that would be a good restoration subject would be considerably less of course, but still more than a common old VW Bus.

Going to make a wild guess and say $5,000 or more for an old worn out but drivable deluxe bus, if you're even lucky enough to find one of that model. To fix it up yourself, have it painted, install new interior, rebuild engine, etc, might be another $3,000-$5,000. To restore it for real, back to factory new, perfect condition, you would spend much more like $13,000 or $15,000 to do that. That would be total tear-down and refinishing or replacement of every single part.

My advice would be to buy or restore a more common 1960's VW Bus model.

I am looking for a 1977 (or '76) Chevy Malibu Classic Station Wagon. Can anyone help me?

I am looking to buy a 1977 (or '76) Chevy Malibu Classic Station Wagon. I have been searching a number of the "Classic Car" websites, but cannot find anything. Can anyone point me to places where I might find one for sale? It is for my son - this was the first car he remembers from our family, and I would like to surprise him. Thank you for any help.

Would you buy a station wagon if there was more choices available?

I did. Cadillac CTS4. Naturally aspirated engine, not “the V".A stylish station wagon that is less expensive than many trucks and SUV's, it sticks out of the crowd. It states loud and clear: I am different because I can and want. With astonishing driving dynamics, I humiliated many trucks and SUVs on snow and ice. Why? Because is built without cuting corners. AWD really works, weight distribution 50/50, and so on.Is a driver's car, build for the love of driving.

In the USA, what is the point in buying a Mercedes station wagon at double the price of any other station wagon?

I drive a Mercedes station wagon because it’s very practical, luxurious, and i can afford it. I drove Volvo wagons before the Mercedes, they certainly didn’t have the comfort or ride of the Mercedes. They certainly are not double the price of other station wagons. Audi, BMW, Volvo all make expensive station wagons. The only wagon i can think of that is half the price is a base model Subaru.

Why does nobody manufacture station wagons anymore?

Have you readWhy does Volvo make so many station wagons? Why are station wagons, despite their unattractive looks, so popular in Europe? Is station wagon dead? Why have most car companies abandoned making the amazingly practical Station Wagon?Do Americans hate station wagon-style cars?I think you will find this has been extensively discussed on Quora, on both sides of the Atlantic, and a little further afield as well.
