Are The Beats Headphones By Dr. Dre Worth It

Are the Beats by Dr. Dre headphones worth $300?

The only ones worth buying are the 300$ studio or pro versions. The solo's are fine although not quite worth 200$. Souls by Ludacris would be a much better option if you have a budget in mind, they look flashy as beats do and have comporable preformance.

Are dre beats headphones worth what they cost?

I have a set of Sennheiser HD280 Pro headphones and they sound just as great as the Dre Headphones in my studio.

The Sennheiser HD280 Pro are around $90 on Ebay
Obviously they are cheaper but I think they sound the same as the Dr Dre

The Dr Dre headphones go a tiny bit louder before distorting (Is that worth $100 more to you?).
Both are accurate at reproducing sound the way it's suppose to be but if you're using an iPod, you won't hear the difference. I use a high-powered Headphone Pre-amp and I can barely tell the difference while Mixing/Editing Music between the 2 sets of headphones.

Are Dre beats headphones worth the money?

NEVER EVER. ALL Beats/Dr.Dre are massively overhyped and overpriced FASHION TOYS marketed VERY AGGRESSIVELY for gullible people who do NOT know a single thing about REAL audio quality.

If REAL quality is an issue, you should stick to REPUTABLE brands only such as B&W, Sennheiser (most affordable), Shure, Grado, Denon, AKG, Audio-Technica (NOT to be mixed with Technic which is utter rubbish as well!), Etymotic or Beyerdynamic. Things like V-Moda, Klipsch, Sony, Panasonic, JVC and Philips are ONLY "okay-ish" indeed. Please do NOT fall a victim to FASHION ACCESSORIES by buying Boombox, Ministry of Sound, Sol/Republic/Revolution, Noontec Zoro's, Benetton, a-jays, iFrogz, Marley, Fanny Wang, Razer, Karl Kani, WESC, Turtle, JH, Dr.Dre/Beats/Solo, Ludacris/Soul, Koss, Skullcandy, Lady GaGa, Skullcrushers, Monsters nor Bose, because they are ALL seriously overhyped and overpriced "fashion blingbling gimmicks" with a very poor durability and sound quality, NOTHING else (and those who try to claim they are good do NOT know ANYTHING about QUALITY anyway!), BE THEM FAKE OR NOT!

Again, please do NOT focus on the thumping bass that just distorts everything else, instead go for GOOD audio quality IN GENERAL.

Beats by Dr. Dre Headphones for porn?

damn that must be hardcore. i never thought of that either.

Are Beats by Dre headphones worth buying?

Worth it if you want the social status that comes with them, which is polarizing and heavy on identity signaling, relative to other headphones. If you think they look good, which it sounds like you do, and you like the idea of how other people would view you, as the kind of person who buys and wears Beats headphones, then they're worth it.As an audio product alone, they are not the best headphone for the money. Beats have a hyped low-end with a steep rolloff, and a bigger dip in the upper frequencies. Not the most accurate headphone, by design. Here are some illustrative charts:You can do your own comparisons here: http://www.headphone.com/pages/b...This is not to say that Beats are not a good headphone. They are definitely a good sounding headphone. But Beats is ultimately a marketing company, not a headphone design company. The original technology came from Monster (see: Beat By Dre: The Exclusive Inside Story of How Monster Lost the World), who themselves are really an accessories/marketing company known for overpriced cables, not speakers or headphones.Beats headphones are good enough for their market. There would be no sense in them investing lots of resources in additional engineering to yield marginal improvements that their market doesn't care about. The reality is that most of the sonic differences in headphones at this level are pointless for people that are not working on music production or extreme audiophiles in a pristine listening environment. This is not what Beats is trying to be. They're a mass-market headphone that people can take with them.By comparison, there are many engineering companies that have been refining headphone designs for sonic performance, across a spectrum of price points, for decades, e.g. AKG, Beyerdynamic, Sennheiser, just to name a few.If audio performance per dollar is the core metric, Beats are not the best option. Buy them if you value the other qualities they bring to the table.

Are Beats headphones/ earbuds worth the money?

Nope. They are low end headphones with an equalizer than makes the lower frequencies more pronounced.

Are beats by dr. Dre earphones good?

I think it is fairly common knowledge that Beats have been the best thing to hit the headphone industry for years! Their great improvement is that they discovered how to get a crappy $50 headphone with way too much boomy bass and release it in multi colors with the name association of some punk “gansta rapper” and sell it by the millions at a $400 price tag.The great benefit to the industry is that it has enabled every other brand to also lift up prices. Sheer genius I say.Now if you do not want to be a stupid sheep and get a headphone for sound quality and not brand association, I suggest you look at Stax electrostatics - really expensive but they are thye best. If your budget does not go to those levels look at Audio Technica ATH-M50X for less than $200 or a set of Sennheiser .

Are the Beats Pro by Dr. Dre worth the $400?

I've been looking into a new pair of headphones as well, and I have come to the conclusion that Beats are not worth the price. In talking to different salesmen, and trying multiple pairs of headphones, I have come to the conclusion that Bose provide a better quality headphone at a cheaper price. The only thing you are missing out on is the style that Beats offer. It seems that the Bose offers better noise canceling, on a smaller/lighter headphone that is more comfortable, but has just has much bass, also at a price $100 cheaper than Beats. In reality, there probably won't be much difference to an untrained ear when you listen to them, so it comes down to what your looking for. If you want the style that Beats offers so you can walk down the street looking fly, then maybe the extra $100 is worth it to you. But the Bose are cheaper, and more comfortable, so for me thats a win. Of course you choose for yourself though. I would recommend going to a Best Buy and trying out a pair of each before you buy them.

I have linked you to the pair of Bose I was talking about below.
