Are The Ibeats By Dre Made Of Metal On The Ear Piece

Which is better: JBL or Beats by Dr. Dre?

If looks are important to you, I'd suggest you go in for the Beats by Dr. Dre. And here's why. Beats, look nice. That's about the only thing that's nice about them. The sound quality they give is that of headphones that are at least a thousand rupees cheaper. They're just a marketing brand. And as pointed out in the earlier answers, JBL make good headphones. But they're not as good as their speakers.I'd suggest you look at the Audio Technica M series. They're amazing headphones which have a flat frequency because they're studio monitors used for music editing, mixing and product. But they perform amazing in terms listening too. And they sound phenomenal! The flat frequency is so that the user is able to listen to every detail perfectly. They also have a ton of good listening headphones too. If you're a bass head, check out their solid bass line. I'd definitely recommend Audio Technica anyday. They sound phenomenal. For the sound you get from them, They are light on your wallet too. I've also used Sennheiser headphones. They're equally good but they have a higher bass than the Audio Technicas. And the sound gets a little distorted at high volumes. Whereas the Audio Technica headphones are clear throughout. I will have to point out that, Sennheiser headphones are equally good. They're louder. I am not saying the Audio Technica headphones are better. Both are amazing headphones that sound phenomenal. As a musician, I would prefer a flatter frequency range. Which is why I may sound biased. But, I assure you, I'm not. I'm a fan of both of them. I own both and they both surprise me everytime. Hope this helps.

Beats By Dre vs Sennheiser. Which should I get?

Regarding Beats By Dre Pro and Sennheiser HD-25 II/HD 280. Now, I have recently taken up Music Producing/Composing and I 'need' some kick *** headphones. I have browsed the internet watching/reading reviews, but I'll ask again my way. To my understanding the Pro is very durable, being made of aluminum, Sennheiser, not as much. I do like the ability to "daisy-chain" with the Pro and the flip up ear-cup if I'm talking to someone. I hear the sennheiser are more comfortable because they have oval shaped ear-cups. I want to be able to use them anywhere I want, within reason, like recording/composing, in a car, in my room casually listening and playing video games. Sound cancellation is not 'that big a deal' to me. I would like to have a great quality of all ranges High/Mid/Low. With more detail of the music I listen to. Everything Electronic. House/ Dub-step/ Electro-Rock/ Dance/ Ambient/ Industrial/ Drum'n'Bass + some Rock/Metal Rap, Hip Hop, the smallest bit of Classical. Now don't get all up in here saying Beats are BS cause brand name and price and effects. I need constructive reviews/opinions, please. I love Bass! I play the bass guitar and anything with lots a bass is my kind of music like dub-step and drum 'n' bass. I want to produce progressive, drum 'n' bass, dub-step, and also some piano tunes. So I need some headphones to halp me continue this passion of mine. Like I said, mainly electronic, but with the capability of listening to nearly anything else

Thank you for your time

Beats by Dre vs. Boise Headphones?

i am looking to buy some new headphones. I have kind of taken to the new Limited Edition Studio's by Dre in the dark blue color. But somebody told me that Boise makes a better headphone for the price. What is better, Beats or Boise headphones

Beats by Dr. Dre Studio headphones damage from full volume listening?

Either the headphones have been damaged or the amp that was used to drive the headphones has gone bad. To troubleshoot use another pair of headphones. Do you still have the buzzing/white noise? If so then the unit driving the headphones is shot. No buzzing/white noise? Try the headphones with something else and see if you get the buzzing/white noise. If you do then the headphones are fried. If it is the headphones you can try and return them to the store for exchange. If you are successful I wouldn't drive them that hard again.

Which are the better headphones: Bose, JBL, or Beats?

It all comes down to what you want.If you want a really stylish looking headphone with average sound quality (accompanied by overemphasised and muddy bass), then Beats the one for you. They are also really pricey. If you want a slightly better sounding headphones with a punchy bass, then JBL is your ideal choice. They sound better than the Beats. JBL sells headphones at an affordable price. So whether you want to pay one-third the price of a Beats headphone and get a headphone with a similar bass-emphasised sound, then JBL is good for you. They have some good looking models too.If you want good (nothing out of the ordinary) sounding headphones which are subtle in style, then Bose is for you. Though they are similarly pricey, they are better when compared to the other two here. Bass is tight and not over-emphasised. Sound quality is good (imo). Balanced sound signature. Mids are a downer. Styling is not over-the-top and is really subtle. However, they tend to sound a bit too bright at high volumes and are really pricey. (though not as costly as the Beats headphones)

Beats By Dre Pros question?

I definitely don't reccomend using steel wool on your Pros.

Aluminum is a pretty soft metal, and using steel wool on them will do 2 things:

1) Make the metal parts look really raw and dull rather than shiny.
2) Create a ton of microscratches that will be quite visible.

As an owner of the Pros, I know how annoying it is not having a hard shell protective case (the soft pouch is horrible).

All I can suggest is really taking close care of them. They are $400 headphones and you don't want to get them too scratched up.

Best of Luck

Which is better, JBL or BEATS?

JBL is much more better in sound quality and has more resistant speakers to clipping whereas Beats is only for soft melodic like music wich has more treble(clarity), JBL has more bass compared to Beats plus JBL can have metal earphones and headphones but beats is only plastic which can be very fragile. JBL’s speakers has this special technology which is called power bass duct and this boosts the bass power by 25% and can result in better sound for bass lovers, Beats’ speakers has only the drivers and no power bass duct which will only help in clarity. JBL also was here before beats.
