If someone commits suicide with someone else's gun can that gun owner be held responsible?
unless that person is a minor there is no law that requires that a gun be locked up, if a person wants to commit suicide they are free to do it and how they do it is up to them and no one else

It's really not used very frequently for the purpose you describe. First of all, there are not great numbers of physicians who commit suicide. Most of us know that if we became upset or suicidal that there are an abundance of good people who treat suicidal thoughts and ideation as part of another disorder, and most of us would seek help. In addition, medical school is pretty gruelling. The people who become suicidal became so during those pressures, not as often later. Lastly, many of us know of the experiments for depression that were performed in the forties and fifties in which insulin shock was used to treat depression (much the way ECT was afterward). We know that those who survived, often had brain damage. Most physicians regardless of their psychosis, know that a failed suicide attempt which renders them with brain damage would not be acceptable to them. Suicide is a permanent answer to a temporary problem. Best wishes.

It is only a matter of time before Obama, Pelozi and Clinton demand and end to our second amendment rights. I propose that when this begins, every American that supports their second amendment rights, whether they are a gun owner or not. Go to their bank and withdraw all their money. We cannot fight this liberal bunch in Washington with street protests and petitions. However, I believe a complete run on the banks may get their attention. What do you think?
Why can't British people be trusted with guns?
It is not that the people in the UK can't be trusted with firearms, it is that the UK government can't be trusted, and don't want the people to be armed so that they can rebel against them for treating their people like slaves.
