Are The Sons Of Anarchy Actually Anarchists

What do real bikers think of Sons of Anarchy?

As a 1%er I know some of my brothers won’t ever watch it, some despise it and some are ambivalent. Personally as a show I think it is watchable. As a true reflection? Utter nonsense. The character of Gemma would never have the power she has in real life. MCs are very male orientated and women never ever have influence. No MC would likely have all the members working at the same place owned by one member. If that member left the club would face uncertainty. Plus in reality members come from different backgrounds and have different jobs. The criminality and the violence is massively exaggerated for dramatic effect. Any club acting like that would be instantly shut down by law enforcement. The show did get some things right, the way the club is organised, with officers, and the brotherhood aspects. It certainly has had a knock on effect with the MC world. There is a lot more Jax Teller wannabes about these days and people either see you as pretending to be like the show or they fear you are actually like that. MCs are generally private and like to keep to themselves so having a bad rep is not so much of an impact but no MC wants to be ridiculed.

How EXACTLY would an anarchist society work?

I'm a "student to anarchism", and my biggest curiosity is how EXACTLY would an anarchist society work? Specifically, I'm curious about how the administration of justice would work (without the courts), and how peace and calm can be maintained when it comes to the day-to-day affairs (without a police force). I've been hearing that if anarchism were a reality, America would look like Somalia (which I think is a bad thing last time I checked), and I just don't think that would be true. So, can y'all help me out with this please?

Why are so many so-called "anarchists" spoiled suburban rich kids with too much time on their hands?

Actually I AGREE !! Few truly "oppressed" kids are familiar with Marx or any texts that describe "anarchism", "socialism", or other "-ism's" !!

Actually, an INTERESTING bit of reading is John Jake's historical-novel "Homeland" where the son of a wealthy brewer rails against his "capitalist-pig" father.

I certainly SEE that sort of crap here in the San Francisco Bay Area... the moody, angst-ridden "anarchists" of UC Berkeley who then take their scooters home to their nice little dorm rooms or apartments paid for by Mommy and Daddy.

The most liberal person I knew was a gal who lived on her trust-fund and ranted about the WTO, World Bank, Republicans, Capitalist-Pig CEO's, etc... and then would go to shop at Nordstroms, Macy's, and high-end vintage shops driving her little BMW convertible home to her $1500 a month gated-condo !!

What is that writing on the bridge in sons of anarchy?

If you're talking about the writing that Jax read in Nevada it was episode 4, "Patch Over". You can watch the episode on fxnetworks.com. From what I read, it said "Anarchism stands for the liberation of the human mind from the dominion of religion. Liberation of the human body from the dominion of property. Liberation from the shackles and restraint of government. It stands for a social order based on the free grouping of induviduals.

Is there a real motorcycle club called the Sons of Anarchy?

Not at all. There is no Charming CA either. According to the producers, Charming is between Stockton and Lodi, about an hour from each. I was born and raised in Stockton and I can tell you that there’s not an hour between the two. It’s about a ten minute drive.

The anarcho-capitalist economist Bryan Caplan argues that the treatment of fascists and fascist sympathizers by Spanish anarchists in the Spanish Civil War was a form of illegitimate coercion, making the anarchists "ultimately just a third faction of totalitarians," alongside the communists and fascists. He also criticizes the willingness of the Confederación Nacional del Trabajo (CNT) to join the Republican government during the civil war, and references Stanley G. Payne's book on the Franco regime which claims that the CNT entered negotiations with the government of Spain six years after the war.[9]Many anarcho-syndicalists, anarcho-communists, and other types of anarchists have criticized the CNT-FAI for entering the Spanish government during and since the events of the Civil War.[10]

What is the Emma Goldman qoute in Son's of Anarchy "Patch Over?"?

"Anarchism stands for the liberation of the human mind from the dominion of religion and liberation of the human body from the coercion of property; liberation from the shackles and restraint of government. It stands for a social order based on the free grouping of individuals…"
-Emma Goldman

If you liked that quote, go on and read here writings. There is quote after quote just as mesmerizing and inspiring as that one. True search for anarchy has been lost and misguided into many untrue and ugly things in our society recently. More people need to find pure anarchy beliefs and let others know what a true anarchist follows and believes.
Stop Complacency. Spread Change. Spread Anarchy!

The Big Book of Mischief

And I will tell you how to find precisely none of those or the other 1100+ files that have similar knowledge. If you cannot find it for yourself, you are definitely not competent to have the knowledge within. Even if you are competent, think carefully if you are mature enough to handle that sort of power to make mischief or to stop wrongdoing.

And basically if you are not a scientist, you will probably miss the steps left out and remove yourself from the gene pool with a colossal blunder.
