Are There Any Additives In The Good Stuff Natural Pipe Tobacco If So What Their Website

What makes pipe tobacco smell so good?

There are two general types of pipe tobacco: flavored and English.Flavored blends have a topping or casing on top of what are usually cheap tobaccos. English blends (regardless of where made) have no toppings or flavorings, and are combinations of different varietals of tobacco.

Vanilla and cherry are probably the most common flavorings. Ironically, many of these flavorings have the tendency to negatively impact the smoking experience due to moisturizing additives needed to get the flavorings to stay in the tobacco. This is also what is added to "crowd pleaser" type cigars.

English tobaccos can range from fairly mild smelling to an overpowering smell that some characterize as woodsy or smokey. Others just stay it stinks. :) The varietal that tends to do the most for the smell is an oriental tobacco called Latakia. Pipe smokers who like it tend to like it a lot, and those they live with tend to hate it. :)

There are some natural flavorings, such as deertongue, that can be added to tobacco for flavor and odor.

As the final irony, the pipe smoker generally cannot smell the smoke itself. Whether the smoke overwhelms the senses or what, I'm not sure, but the smell of a pipe is generally just for others.

If you like the smell of a tobacco, ask the smoker. Many of them will go on at length about what they are smoking.

AFAIK Pueblo made by Pöschl Tabak is free of additives.“Pueblo is a brand of tobacco products made by Pöschl Tabak from Geisenhausen, Germany. It is one of the leading brands in the additive free segment together with Natural American Spirit. It's sold in many parts of Europe and Asia, however the strenght, blend and package design of all individual products is globally the same. Additional rolling papers are also produced, as well as a hydrostone for use with rolling and tubing tobacco. ”I have tried both Pueblo and American Spirit and not only are the free of additives but also very good.Actually I have tried a lot of rolling tobaccos and Pueblo is absolutely the best one of them. Also the tobacco named Manitou claims to be “without synthetic additions”.I have also tried this one and it is also very good.

Is smoking 100% natural organic tobacco cigarettes with no additives safer and healthier?

To all the people telling others not to smoke...live your own friggin life and stop telling other people how to live their's. As for organic vs. chemical soaked tobacco. I think if you have a brain between your ears it should be pretty easy to figure out that HUNDREDS of fewer chemicals being burned and inhaled MUST be much better for you. And did you know that when the world actually first discovered tobacco it was applauded as the new miracle herb. They used it to treat MANY illnesses with great results. Nicotine actually is very beneficial to the nervous system (including the brain) and is very good at preventing alzheimers and parkinsons. As with many things though take a little and its medicine; take a lot and its poison. moderation is key. And if you really are stupid enough to actually believe anything the government tells you especially about whats good for you or bad for you then you'll just die that much sooner.

Whats the difference between pipe tobacco, and regular roll your own tobacco other then the price?

It depends what kind of pipe tobacco. Some of the newer pipe tobaccos can be easily used to roll your own cigarettes. This link explains:

For an example of this, Criss Cross once made cigarette tobacco. Sometimes around the time when the SCHIP went into effect, they stopped making cigarette tobacco and started cutting their tobacco a little larger and labeling it as pipe cut. I've known people who like Criss Cross but it isn't one of my favorites.

Another example is called The Good Stuff. They stopped production of their cigarette cut and now only sell what they call a pipe cut. I haven't tried this kind but I've heard good things about it.

D&R used to make cigarette tobaccos and switched over to pipe cuts. I love their tobaccos. They work great for cigarettes. Their Ryback, Ryback Gold and Three Sails are still in a shag cut which is easier to inject than the larger cuts. I smoke these brands exclusively. This is a good source for them:

They are cheaper on this site but this place doesn't carry all of the blends:

This is a thread on a forum that discusses D&R tobaccos (as you can see, there's a thread on them switching to pipe cut). There are other topics also--if you want to read them, just click on Board Index in the upper left corner.

The forum doesn't seem to be taking new members but there's a lot of good information there.

So some tobaccos can be used but there are many pipe tobaccos that cannot be used. Older pipe tobaccos are too moist and not made for inhaling. It's just a matter of knowing which tobaccos are really pipe tobaccos and which ones are simply relabeled cigarette tobaccos with a larger cut.

2 very distinct, and good reasons.A, you save a lot of money, pipe tobacco is not taxed as much as cigarette tobacco.B, you unclog your lungs, and get to see your breakfast again. As you choke and puke the inhaled pipe tobacco.Just buy a cheap pipe, a lighter, and some low tax pipe tobacco, you will enjoy it much more than making a rollup from pipe tobacco. In fact, if you go to a proper tobacconist shop, the owner will steer you to some great starter tobaccos, a good price on a pipe, and probably a free sample or two, statistically, pipe smokers (who stick with smoking pipes), become good spending regulars at their favorite pipe shop.

Is pipe tobacco safer than cigarette tobacco?

Cigar, pipe, and cigarette smoking can all lead to cancer. They all contain tobacco, the cancer causing agent, and they all have nicotine, which causes addiction and dependency. So it's clear that cigars and pipes are not safe alternatives to cigarettes
he difference between a cigar and cigarette is that a cigar is a roll of cut tobacco wrapped in leaf tobacco or a tobacco product. Cigarettes are rolls of tobacco wrapped in paper or any other non-tobacco product. Natural cigarettes are made without chemical additives or flavorings, using full tobacco leaves rather than reconstituted sheet or scrap tobacco. The only possible advantage to natural cigarettes seems to be an earth-friendly one, since fewer chemical by-products result from their manufacture, and some natural cigarette companies produce their tobacco organically. However, natural cigarettes still pose major health risks.

Is there nicotine in pipe tobacco?

Awwwwww....it doesn't need to be that confusing. Fair warning---some of this may be boring but it may help you understand.

Some of the Latin names for the tobacco used for smoking, dipping, chewing, and snuff is Nicotiana tabacum and Nicotiana rustica. This plant has varying amounts of nicotine in it. Even the ornamental tobacco plants such as Nicotiana alata and Nicotiana suaveolens have nicotine in it. If you don't believe me, you can google any of these names.

There are various types of tobaccos, each with a different flavor, growing habit, climate preference, and nicotine content. Even within each kind of tobacco, there are variations in the particular strain of tobacco and how it is grown and cured. Some of those tobaccos are Virginia, Kentucky, Burley, Orient, Perique, Black Cavendish, and Latakia.

They all contain nicotine which is an addictive substance. But remember the amounts of nicotine varies greatly.

I've smoked a pipe and I inhaled. When my husband smoked a pipe (many years ago) he inhaled too. I guess that's a personal preference. Some pipe tobaccos have a cut and moisture level that make them okay to use in an injector (I'm smoking one of them now from an injector). You will want a finer cut pipe tobacco. Some good ones that I'd recommend by D&R are Two Timer, Windsail, Vengeur, and Three Sails. Check them out here--look at the third section down on the left in a section labeled "Roll Your Own".

There's a really good forum for people who roll their own cigarettes. Just google RYO Revolution. You'll learn all you wanted to know about the different kinds of tobaccos available.

It’s inherently less dangerous because of the composition.Cigarette tobacco is essentially nothing but chemical coated plant matter. The leaves are coated in chemicals from the moment they sprout out of the ground and even beforehand since the soil is treated with chemicals. Once the plants have matured they are swiftly brought into the drying room and then sprayed down yet again to speed up the curing process to a matter of days instead of weeks, months, or years. After that has been completed the bottom of the leaves are cut away from the rest of the plant and shredded for use in cigarettes. From that point they are rolled in a paper possibly stuck to a filter and packed before being shipped out. Your end product looks like thisThat’s pretty gross looking tobacco. So is this.Pipe tobacco on the other hand is made from the top and middle portions of the tobacco leaves. The soil and plants are left to do their own thing as they grow and are allowed a full growing cycle. Once the leaves are fully matured, the plants are carefully cut and hung in the drying room. After months or years of curing these leaves come down and are sent to wherever they are to go for manufacturing into pipe tobacco.Once they are in the factory they may be cut, shredded, or any number of other things before they are packed in jars, tins, pouches, etc. for sale. Your end product looks something like thisNotice the many different colors in the tobacco. This is because of the different types put in there. They are blended together to make a really well thought out flavor. The only time pipe tobacco is mixed with chemicals is to create an unnatural flavor. There are no preservatives or anything else like that because that is what cigarette tobacco has and this is of higher quality although it’s astronomically cheaper.

Does natural american spirit cigs have nicotine in them?

I have been smoking Spirits a year now. I am curious myself if there is actually less nicotine in Spirits because I smoke them enough to be addicted but I'm not if that makes sense. I never "crave". I even smoked a whole pack of the yellow pack recently in like 3 days! I tell this to people and they don't believe me. I'm on the road 3 days a week with my stressful job and I never bring them with me on the road. I smoke because it's fun. So could regular companies be injecting more nicotine into the cigarettes? I should be a spokes person for Spirit haha.
