How many people watch anime?
Crunchyroll has around 50M visitors a month as a guestimate. But Similarweb (an online tool) claims they had 71M visitors last month.Kiss Anime on the other hand is said to have 162M visitors based on January 2018 (not surprising as it’s free and bigger than crunchyroll)Funimation has even less with 11M visitors in January 2018And as stated in a different answer, Google says fans search anime related topics up to 10M - 100M times a month collectively.Another Quoran in their answer thinks there are 2–3 billion people who watch anime.This is completely absurd and ridiculous based on the facts above. If that were true the anime industry would be SWIMMING IN MONEY.Based on the numbers above, there are barely even 100M fans if you was to combine both Kiss Anime, Crunchyroll, Funimation, and other sites together.And don’t forget: there aren’t even more than 100M fans worldwide who both watch anime or buy anime merchandise as a whole. So 2–3 billion is outrageous.And let’s not forget: Crunchyroll’s 70M visitors (from January 2018) aren’t going to crunchyroll just to watch anime. A portion of those visitors only go to crunchyroll for news, articles, content and blog posts.So the amount who actually watch anime is even less for Crunchyroll in particular.A safe bet for how many watch anime worldwide is probably around 20–30M at most. Maybe a little less, and definitely not much more realistically (since even the numbers above aren’t guaranteed).
Are the rumors true about the Belgium Blastoise Rapist true?
"Kaster is a village in Belgium, part of the municipality of Anzegem. Recently, the town made headlines when a serial rapist dressed as a Blastoise Pokemon raped and killed 65 men." I saw this on a few sites this week and read some info about it on wikipedia.. But, now the wikipedia link is blocked or longer existing.. did this really happen? Regardless its funny as hell.

ok i know a lot of moives like scream fright club childs play as inspired real murders/crimes and blamed for same with video games like doing a college shooting in 99 if i remember right the shooting was blamed on doom1. so as anime ever been blamed for a muder or eneycrime or inspired a real crime in real life ?

Do Japanese feel closer to Germans than to other nations of Europe?
In my experience yes. When I lived there and my employer was made aware that my mother is German they seemed oddly excited about it. They eventually told me of their high regards to German work ethic and high quality craftsmanship - which is a trait the Japanese themselves take seriously and proudly. I also noticed that most students at the college I worked at, beyond English requirements, when opting for a European language a lot would take German. An unfortunate side to this is Nazi worship. I don't think they understand it fully but at arcades and the mall, by the purikura machines (photo booths) they would have these costume rooms with Nazi wardrobes to dress-up in. High Schools girls would wear that in a purikura photo! I was very shocked to see this. It seems funny for them - I'm not sure if they understood the full extent of it. Anyway, I did receive a sort of favoritism over the other Westerners there due to my German mother (heritage). Plus she is a doctor so they are intrigued my female doctors (my family is American though).
