Are There Any Guitar Shops In Nha Trang

What do you recommend when traveling Vietnam-Ho Chi Minh?

Hi dear,
First, I'm a Vietnamese and i live in HCMC :-)
You know, Vietnam is considered as a very cheap place all over the world, with price of things and living is very cheap. Actually, price in Vietnam is reasonable for Vietnamese but for foreigners, it's too cheap. For 1 week staying here, the money amount you need depends on where you choose to live, such as which hotel which area... For foreigners, i think DISTRICT 1 is the best place for you ( you just need to catch a taxi and ask him to take you to district 1 ) - where you can find so many good hotels and too many foreigners like you staying . Hotels in district 1 is a little expensive than other place but i will recommend you this area. Because in Vietnam, the social evils are everywhere. It will be dangerous for you since you are foreigner coming to Vietnam. District 1 is a very clean , pieceful and beautiful place, i'm sure you will like it ^^!! ( Average price for staying in hotel for a week is about 30 - 60 USD for a 3star hotel and 120 - 160 USD for a 5 star hotel ( per night )
Vietnamese food is very very cheap and tasty. It takes you about 20 USD per day.
Transportation takes about 25 - 30 USD per day.
I will recommend you to visit Đầm Sen and Suối Tiên ( These are 2 interesting places , they have all kinds of entertainment there, like amusement park, zoo, water park .... Or if you want to go to the beach,it takes you 2-3 hours by bus to get to Vũng Tàu beach , many foreigners come to visit this beach - good resorts and seafood. If you still have time, then you should visit Giang Điền stream - not in HCMC, takes about 1hour to get there by bus. You can come to ask traveling agent to make a tour for 1 week in HCMC or even out of HCMC, you can visit many places in 1 week and easier when you have a tour guide to lead you.
Enjoy your trip ^^!!!
Hope i can help :-) !

Could I be Maitreya (the next Buddha)?

Maitreya is prophesied to come to our world many millennia in the future when the teachings of the present Buddha, Shakyamuni, have died out & long been forgotten. Maitreya - WikipediaHe is said to currently reside in Tushita Heaven Tushita - Wikipedia before he will come to Earth in the future. You can make enquiries on receiving the empowerment/initiation of Maitreya by looking online as to where one might be available. His mantra is: “Om Maitreya Mam Soha”, you can recite this mantra either aloud or silently, whilst from the visualized Maitreya a cubit tall at arm’s length at eye level, millions of tiny Maitreya emanations, healing light rays & nectars enter your every single cell, purifying, healing & transforming them all, making them all happy & well, making your body, speech & mind completely inseperable from him - enabling you to cultivate, develop & emulate his qualities - Enlightened Loving Kindness, which in Sanskrit is “Maitri”, & in Pali is “Metta”.10th Century Chinese Buddhist Monk Budai Budai - Wikipedia was considered an emanation of Maitreya, he is also known as the Fat Buddha, or the Laughing Buddha:

When is the best time to visit Vietnam, and what are their things to do and see?

Well, I’m not sure about the best time to visit Vietnam but I’ll tell you the worst time to visit. That is during the Tet or Chinese new year.I was in Vietnam for 3 weeks this past February. I took a train ride from Ho Chi Minh City to Nha Trang by train. I arrived rather late at around 1:30 AM.Unfortunately I didn’t have a hotel reservation when I went since most of the time you can travel and find a place to stay that will have available rooms most of the time. Well, to make a long story short, It took me a few hours of walking around before I could finally find a place to spend the night. Many of the hotels in Nha Trang were 95% booked! This was a valuable lesson learned. If you are travelling to a different country, it pays to book a hotel in advance especially if your travel dates fall on local national holidays! It is just not worth the stress.

Are there any liberal-minded veterans?

Well, there’s me.I don’t really define myself as liberal, more of an independent issue by issue voter, but I’m very liberal on many issues. In fact, I lean so liberal on many issues, I’ve had some wingnuts in the comments on my answers have the sheer gall to question my service. Because, you know, you can’t possibly have actually been a Marine for 10 years and be a liberal, can you?Uh…. Yup.The assumption that military members or vets are automatically Republican is just patently false. It goes along, I think with the right wing assumption that they have some sort of monopoly on patriotism. (Because their pundits keep telling them that liberals hate America … do we need to go back here? Chris O'Leary's answer to Why do liberals seem to hate the United States? )Yes. Active Duty Armed Forces members overall tend to skew Republican demographically, but not as much as you’d think. In fact, it’s not even a full 50% of the GUYS, never mind the women. Now I’m sure many of those Independents will vote Republican, so if it was a strict election with just military members, you’d probably see a pretty healthy Republican victory. But you can see. Not as clear as you would think, Especially if you’re listening to nothing but right wing news. (BTW, the source on that is the Military Times, I don't’ think you can use a “Liberal Main Stream Media” crack to discredit that one.Troops see rising political tension in the ranks, poll showsThose of us who served know better, we lived, ate, worked, and played with a diverse group of men and women who had one thing in common, but other than that were as much (Ok, maybe slightly less so) uniquely individual as anyone else.Part of what I loved about it.

What are the most interesting things to do and see in Vietnam?

Du Hoang, in his answer to this question, stated that "Vietnam embraces modernity with striking appetite." I could not have said this better, and it is very true. But to me, this is one of the best of Viet Nam's characteristics to explore and discover. In general, the culture of Viet Nam is eclectic -- the Vietnamese appropriated elements of Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism at various times in the development of the Cham culture. They readily adapted the romanization of the language proposed by the French priest Alexander de Rhodes. The residential architecture was first an adaptation of Chinese rural houses, and has now culminated in the best modernist architecture for houses seen anywhere in the world. They adopted these architectural ideas in the 1940s and 50s through French architects, and have continued to refine and develop a distinctive Vietnamese brand of modernist architecture since then. Therefore I recommend spending more days in the cities of HCMC and Hanoi than is usual for tourists. Go beyond the tourist areas and walk through neighborhoods. Listen to the music in Vietnamese cafes (not the international knock-off cafes like Highlands), see the houses along the streets and note the house industries and retail shops within. Note the ongoing pace of construction in every neighborhood as residents upgrade or replace their houses. Observe wedding celebrations in the large wedding palaces, and photograph young couples getting their wedding photos taken in the parks. Supplement this with excursions into the nearby countryside so you can understand the close ties between the cities and the rural areas in feeding the country and producing its healthy cuisine.I believe you will come away understanding that the young energy of the Vietnamese people is developing a modern economy and lifestyle, but with distinctive Vietnamese adaptations that will serve them well into the future.
