What are some truly scary haunted areas in tennessee?
On Hwy 11, going towards Morristown there is a haunted house. I have seen alot of crazy things there, including a couple of apparitions. You will turn in front of Lakeview Grocery to go to the Old 11W. When You get to top of hill you will be facing the old Shady Lane Motel (in process of being tore down). As you go left you will see a large brick house on left next to where motel was. See if you can see the girl on the staircase! The "Hale Springs Inn" is one of the oldest, continually operating inns in the State and as one of the featured stops along this tour route, guests will learn about the tremendous history and hauntings there. Rogersville is also host to the oldest Courthouse in the State and the site of Tennessee's first Post Office. The town even had it's very own "underground railroad" used to smuggle slaves, who might yet haunt the old tunnels under several of the towns historic buildings!

With vampires, we just hang it around our necks. I suppose if I ate enough of the stuff, it would keep the ghosts away too. Heck, if I ate enough of it, it would keep everybody away.Crucifixes are said to work, too. I would just need to stay awake (who could sleep in a place like that, anyway?) and whenever something dark and scary approached, I’d brandish the crucifix and shout, “Away!” Or maybe I could add a few frills like, “Get back to Hell, Demon1”—Another tradition suggests “bell, book and candle” as the best protection. If I took those, I’d spend all night ringing the bell so that if they came around it would drive them batty. Hmm. If there were any bats in the area it’d probably drive those batty too. Is there a market for batty bats? —If they got past the bell I could then hit them with the book. A big book is a pretty good weapon.—And if they still wanted to play, I’d set fire to them with the candle. After all, methylated spirits is inflammable, why not ghostly spirits? I don't know of any places that are really "haunted." One of the most creepy places is Sauer Castle. But I wouldn't go on the property because they sometimes have a groundskeeper who will have a gun, and have two guard dogs on the property, at least last I heard. But you can view it clearly from outside the gates. And it is perfectly okay to do that. Other than that, just cemeteries, and just out in the dark are sometimes pretty scary if you are in the right mindset.

Okaaay i seriously don't believe in ghosts but yess soul do exist|||| me just sharing my personal view on a real incident ….Once I was living in a hostel with very few friends & my hostel was far away from the other hostels & campuses. It was a four storey building but as it was a winter vacation so all the floors were vacant. My room no waz 2a-73 staying with my roommate ….the haunted room waz 2a-70 & another guy with his roommate was staying in 2a-69. My roommate went to bathroom at 1:30 pm for smoking …but when he returned .,he suddenly heard a banging frm 2a-70.He was shocked for few moment but then he ran & came towards me & told me “Bhai bhoot”||||Me started laughing at first then I thought he was bluffing but after seeing his expression ..I said “ i think ur. Drunk…He replied “nope …just come with me… Believe in Ur eyes….I heard a banging frm d beside room”….I took my dress on & finally went there..when I was standing few inches away from the door ….I heard a very loud banging …the lock of the door was dangling…..at first ,me got scared a little bit..but I told my roomate “ i think someone is trapped inside….lend ur shoulder…i want to peak through the ventilator”…..he waz scared but I took confidence to peek inside on his shoulder….I saw that all the windows were locked but one wardrobe was open….but there waz a mandatory rule was built up in our hostel dat before leaving the room ,u should keep ur wardrobes & windows locked..generally students lock dere wardrobe before leaving there room…after remembering about the fact , i got scared & told my roomate to wait silently until someone sees the same thing.…after half an hour,one guy was crossing from that site….that tym the door was banged very really hard he got scared & started screaming …Then we went there& finally lodged a complaint against that room to the wardens …at first they sent the security guard…when he saw the door banging he ran away ….. After that wardens came & checked the room …the room was totally packed….nothing was inside …..windows were locked but this tym wardrobe was closed & dat shook me … After checking the room …they remain silent but the doors kept on banging successively for 3 days continuous ly from 1am to 4am ….it was damn too scary..
Anyone here knows where the haunted crest haven in San Diego is located? Is it by escondido?
It's in San Marcos off Rancho Sante Rd about 7 miles south of Palomar Airport Rd.. It's not like it use to be, there are homes up there now. The area is also called Elfin Forrest. It use to be a real spooky place to go but I haven't been there is years. I grew up in Oceanside and we use to go there all the time. Go at night and watch for the ghost woman on the road or the swing set that swings by itself. It will freak you out. If you have a video camera with night vision make sure you take it because there really is weird stuff going on out there. Have fun
