Are There Any Tattoos/piercings You Re Planning To Get

Do you like tattoos and piercings?

I don't mind if someone has a tattoo. It looks good. Sometimes it's artistic. My friends have tattoo. That looks cool. But I am not going for tattoo or piercing myself. It's a permanent thing.I am changing every year. My philosophy and point of view keeps changing. What I liked last year, I don't like it anymore. I am learning every day.I read a lot about tattoo. It's fascinating. But I love my clean body and prefer to keep my beliefs inside my mind.Tattoo is something that we would like to have with us for a lifetime. It requires stability and strong desire. People gets a tattoo when they believe in something strongly or loves an idea; when they know who they are.I am still a “Work in progress”.

Doctors with piercings and tattoos?

Nose and eyebrow piercings will likely hinder your job prospects - however, that doesn't mean you can't have them done NOW. Just take them out when the time comes to get a job - by then, an eyebrow or nose piercing will be fine to be removed for work and will still stay open as long as you wear something in them every night, if you wish to keep them open, or you can just take them out permanently, it'll leave a tiny hole which will just look like a slightly enlarged pore.

Tattoos, in easily covered places, will have no effect on your ability to get a job - after all, if they're covered, no-one will know you have them. Back, legs, feet, upper arms, chest etc - all these are usually covered by clothing so colour away lol. Even wrist tattoos can be hidden by wearing a watch or a bracelet, as long as you're careful about the size and location of the design.

Social work & tattoos/piercings?

Tattoos and some piercings can unfortunately definitely hinder the chances of getting a job. Now if that job was a social worker or not, it wouldn't matter that much. Say if you were wanting to work in a high end lawyer's office.. then they probably wouldn't want any tattoos or piercings visible. But if you present yourself in a good way and if your tattoos aren't provocative or rude in any way then that should be okay. A tongue piercing isn't that noticeable, so it should be okay. A lot of people have tattoos and piercings these day, so people are becoming more accepting of them in the workfield. I've seen therapists that have had tattoos before. Same with social workers. Just know that you won't get the job without any work. Give a great interview and that will help!

Why so uptight about tattoos and piercings?

Why is everyone still giving into such a negative stigma about tattoos and piercings? I constantly hear that people are less likely to trust someone with visible tattoos and piercings. Honestly, as long as the tattoo isn't obviously racist/sexist what does it matter? I think people can still be professional and have tattoos and piercings (withing reasonable limit).

What is the minimum age for tattoos and body piercings in Alabama?

We are opening a Tattoo and body piercing shop in Decatur, Alabama.
The question at hand is : Is there a minimum age for tattoos and one for body piercings ?
This does not mean if it is legal we plan on inking toddlers or piercing them up either.
If there is no minimum what suggestions for ages do you have ?
Right now we are playing around with 14 for piercings ( no genitals or nips or mods that will be affected by puberty). Ears are ok under 14. Tattoos we are looking at either 16 ( Alabama has a lot of emanicapated minors) or just leaving it at 18 ( legal age).
Suggestions or sites with the actual law are greatly appreciated.

Do you need to make an appointment to get a piercing at a tattoo place?

It really depends on the shop, the day, etc. Most piercers take walk ins. Piercing doesn't take as long as tattoos do, so we have a bit more time to squeeze someone in. I prefer that people make appointments, so that I can be sure to have everything I need, especially if it's for something unusual or requires custom jewelry. Besides, it's kinda nice to know you have a full day booked!

If you're planning to go on a weekend, be sure to make an appointment. Studios tend to get a lot of walk in traffic on weekends.

Tattoos and piercings in the Army National Guard?

I don't have any piercings or tattoos (yet) but I'm not planning on getting anything extreme- maybe a small tattoo on my wrist or forearm, one on my shoulder and one on my upper arm. And as for piercings, I'm only planning on getting 2 small ones- no big gauges or anything.

Is this allowed in the Army National guard? If not, elaborate
