Are There Different Versions Of Minecraft For The Xbox 360

Whats the different between xbox one minecraft and pc minecraft?

well, not much. just minecraft for xbox does not have as much stuff you can make, and it does not have as much 'perks' as you could say. for instance, you cannot make a minecraft server on xbox. if you dont know, a minecraft server is a world that all of your friends can get on. currently, all you can do is open up a LAN world, so only the person who owns the world can open it up and people can only play on it when the person opens it up, and is on it. on pc, it is different. i could make a server and you could come on anytime you want. my pc wouldn't even have to be on. you could come anytime, and you can have more people on a pc server at once. on xbox, you can only have 8. on pc, it can practically be endless to the amount of people on it. also, on minecraft pc, you can have mods. mods are things that make minecraft different. such as adding more animals, or crops, or furniture. there are also texture packs which make your blocks different. i know they have these on xbox, but you have to pay for them, while pc's are free and you can have a lot. you can also make skin changes to your person. they have skins on the xbox, but you cannot make your own, and they have limited ones, which you have to pay for, and minecraft for pc is free with skins. the controls for computer are (in my opinion) a lot easier than an xbox remote. i feel you can react more quickly to mobs and such, and build faster. also, i think that the quality is better on the pc than the xbox. pc might be 27.00 US dollars, and xbox is around 20.00 US dollars, you get more of your moneys worth with pc. I have both, and they are both great versions, but xbox is a little more limited. sorry for making this so long, there is probably a lot more differences, but you can figure those out yourself!! a haha!

How to turn off Monster Spawn on Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition?

I have Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition. I love it and I'm trying to build something amazing, but the monsters spawning everywhere make it difficult. There is probably no way to turn off the monsters or maybe have it be day time the whole time, but if there is a way please tell me. It's very annoying and getting in the way.

Is there sandbox mode in the most recent version of minecraft for the xbox 360?

for the longest time I haven't updated the game because this glitch I found that allows me to multiply items unlimitedly, and easily. I have not updated the game out of fear of losing this glitch which allows me to build magnificent creations with the unlimited items glitch. does sandbox mode exist in the most recent version of the game?

How to update the Xbox minecraft disc version?

No, you can download the update onto a USB and do the update that way. The Xbox MUST go online in order to download any updates or other materials.

The easiest thing for you to do is go buy a used wireless adapter from Gamestop. The older B/G model is fine. You don't need the faster B/G/N model.

Otherwise you'll have to either buy a router ($35-40) and configure it to connect to your parents' hotspot, and then plug the 360 into one of the router's ethernet ports, OR buy a wireless bridge which allows you to connect your 360 to the bridge and then the bridge connects to the hotspot via wifi. This also costs $35-40 - which is also the price of a used wireless adapter for your 360.

Unfortunately there is no other way.

How do you trade with villagers in minecraft xbox 360 edition?

Trading with villagers is not currently a feature in Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition. We are probably one or two title updates away before we get that, nut there is no guarantee we'll get it at all. Mojang and 4J Studios have both said that Minecraft for the Xbox 360 is a stand-alone edition, and will not exactly replicate what PC users get from new patches. This means there is every chance that at some point in the future we'll receive something PC users don't have, and will never get.

To see the list of changes, additions, and bug fixes for the TU12 for the Xbox 360 Edition, go to the following URL:

The top part of the table (where it says "1.5 (TU12)" in the far left column) is the part that corresponds to the latest title update the Xbox 360 Edition received.

How can I create and use an End Portal on Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition?

In the creative inventory, there's an End Portal Frame block. Build a frame like so:O = Air# = End Portal FrameO###O#OOO##OOO##OOO#O###O To make the orientation correct, it's easiest to stand in the middle and build it around you. Then do the same thing when filling the frame with Eyes of Ender.

How do reset Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition updates?

When I first started playing Minecraft on the Xbox I instantly fell in love with it. The graphics, the lighting, the simplicity, and its challenging nature. But now with all these updates out, its gotten more complex. With the enchantments and the end, its just not the same. And the way it gets darker as night comes is so smooth, its hardly noticeable. But that was one of the things that I loved about it before the updates, was the different layers/shades of darkness that came with the night. And the animals are more of a nuisance now with their high spawn rate and running away when you're trying to kill them. It may seem like I'm ranting, but I still love Minecraft. And I look forward to the new updates. I just wish I could go back to the way it was before the updates. Just completely default. But I can't figure out how. I tried deleting the updates and playing offline, but it gives me the trial not the full game. If someone has figured out a way to do this and has actually done it, I would love to know how. Thanks anyways.

On the Xbox 360 Edition of “Minecraft”, what is the extra slot in the inventory on the other side of the armour bar?

This is the offhand slot. This slot is used for dual weilding. A sword in one hand and a bow in the other or torches in one hand and a pickaxe in the other. Or even building with a material in one hand and a tool in the other. On PC this slot holds a sheilds but I am not sure if sheilds have been implimented into Xbox. For more information on dual weilding and the offhand slot click here: Tutorials/Dual wielding

Can I make trap doors in Minecraft on the xbox 360?

hey I also found out you could but is there any way I could place it in a upr right position say you have stone in a perfect 3 by 3 square that sits upright, hole in the middle, how do I place it to cover the whole to act like it as a window. I have it like that on pc. I would like to see it upcoming updates.

I think minecraft for xbox is similar to the alpha versions.
