Are There Multiple Playthroughs On Pokemon X And Y

Should I get Pokemon X or Ultra Sun?

Well, in my opinion, I would go down the Pokemon Ultra Sun route. IF you get Ultra Sun you will get many more choices for different Pokemon on your team, and Ultra Sun has a lot more post game and ‘mini game’ opportunities. The mini games being Mantine Surf, Ultra Space Wormholes, and other things. Besides, in Ultra Sun you will be able to get a lot of different legendaries and you can even fight…SPOILER ALERTTeam Rainbow Rocket. So yeah, in my opinion, definitely get Ultra Sun for the post game experience and the more Pokemon available.

Where can I go to play the original Pokemon red?

You can get it, as well as Blue and Yellow, on the 3DS Virtual Console for 10 bucks each. If you’re worried about these versions not being “authentic,” don’t be: they were designed specifically to be exactly like the originals, complete with trading between versions and all bugs and glitches included. Essentially, Gen I in it’s purest and most affordable form.Other options include buying the original cartridge online(which will probably put a gigantic dent in your wallet) and finding an emulator somewhere(which, while free and identical to the original in almost every aspect, won’t allow you to trade with others or take it on the go in quite the same way, being restricted to a computer and all).Overall, I’d recommend the 3DS version, but hey, the choice is yours.Edit #1: One thing I forgot to mention was that the original cartridges stored save files in a very small battery that wears easily with age. Therefore, with cartridges being almost 20 years old now, you’d almost certainly need to get it replaced(adding even more to the total cost) or simply play it without being able to save. As I said before, I’d go with the 3DS version.

Can you beat a Pokemon game using only Ditto?

A guy on Youtube did this as a challenge with both the Gen 1 and Gen 2 games. It’s definitely doable, and the Youtuber even put additional restrictions on his playthroughs; to avoid mindless grind play, he wouldn’t use items during battle (held items where okay). If you allow the use of healing, status restore, and pp restore items, the games are much easier; with his restrictions in Crystal it is only theoretically possible to beat Red (you would need the perfect storm of constant critical hits and enemy misses/paralysis). Without those restrictions, you can potion spam through most of the toughest fights. Additionally, most of the games don’t have enemies like Red with high enough level Pokemon to make it an issue. If we take “Only Ditto” to allow for multiple Ditto (Dittos?), then it gets even easier. One of the challenges faced (especially in Gen 2) was that trainers often don’t lead with their best Pokemon, meaning you find yourself with a weak Pokemon to face the trainers stronger ones. Being able to swap to another Ditto and Transform again will make things a lot smoother; you can re-transform into a stronger Pokemon later in the fight. Being able to us PP restoring items in battle would allow a similar strategy with a single Ditto; use Struggle at the start of the fight, then restore Transform’s PP so you can Transform later.Starting in Gen 5, another option comes into play with Impostor; Ditto will automatically be transformed when it enters battle, so the player won’t lose a turn using Transform. Not being able to deplete Transform’s PP and use Struggle from the outset of a battle might not work for everything, though.

What's a good in-game team for Pokémon X / Y?

Pretty easy game with the exp share, so just use whatever your favorites here, but I’ll give some suggestions.Delphox:Yes, Delphox is probably the worst battling starter, but the other two downright suck against the gym leaders, so Delphox is the best in game option.Venusaur:Really solid choice that is great against multiple gyms.Doublade:It’s in ubers. In the gen where all the megas were introduced.Starmie:Excellent water-psychic type with bolt beam coverage. Stellar choice for a water slot.Heliolisk:No matter what, this thing beats siebold.Lucario:I know this is a second steel type, but they literally hand this thing to you, I mean come on, as if this wasn’t already the easiest game in the series.Other oprions include Gardevoir, Alakazam, Florges, Hawlucha, Pangoro, Snorlax, Crobat, Absol, Talonflame, Kingdra, Steelix, Cloyster, Lapras, Rotom, and Gengar. Would also consider the litany of dragon types available throughout the game. They’re all good.

How important is perfect IVs / IV breeding in Pokémon?

So, to put it in perspective: 1 IV point = 1 point on that stat at lvl 100. When your pokemon levels up, it usually gets, on average from 0-3 points on any given stat. So that means that two lvl 100 pokemons, one with all 0 IVs and one with perfect 31 IVs would be comparable to fighting a level 100 against a level 131. That's 31 more levels that you can be higher than your opponent when factoring IV's. I mean, I'm sure you wouldn't go against a level 81 with your level 50. Of course, at level 50 which is where most competitive battling on the actual games happens this difference is significantly less, but this gives you an idea of just how important they can be.However, I usually don't like worrying too much about them. Without a perfect IV ditto, it's really hard and time consuming to breed perfect pokemon, so I just don't worry about it. I personally think that Natures are way more important, since 10% boost in any stat is usually higher than what IV's will give you (especially if that stat is high in the first place, which is what you should be aiming to increase in the first place). An extra 10% plus EV's will give your pokemon a strong enough push to be effective in their roles, even without the IV's. So you can enjoy competitive aspects of the game even without IV'sOf course, if you want to play in a tournament or something, then yeah, make sure you have the IV's because then the difference will be really significant. If you're playing just for fun, don't worry too much about it.
