Are These Animes Good

Are these animes good?

Chobits: I personally feel that you would find more enjoyment through reading the manga rather than watching the anime. The latter is so short that it just focuses on the important points in the original plot (and the ecchi unfortunately) which practically kills any development with the two MCs. In regards to whether the anime is good, I would say yes. The "boy-meets-robot" canon is beaten to death frankly, but this one stands out among others in that category. I would recommend it if you're into light romantic comedy. Go for the manga, though!

Dokuro is basically another romance comedy albeit a little more on the comedic side. As such, its very funny if you can enjoy a blue-haired girl terrorizing some poor boy on a daily basis, hahaha. It was short and gave me a good laugh, but that's about all the merit there is to the show honestly. This one is a mixed bag I suppose. I would suggest watching the first two episodes (fifteen minutes each I believe). You will get a pretty good idea whether you will like the rest from that point.

As for anime that came out before 2005, I would suggest Air or Kanon. Maybe even The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I believe those are all before 2005 and have a similar animation style to the two you mentioned (not so much Haruhi).

Good Anime???

Can you tell me any good animes that you know? I like all kinds: action, comic even yaoi but i don't know any for now. Please discribe it a bit to know it better. Thanks

Is 11 eyes the anime good?

You'll start watching because you'll be entranced with the opening episodes and you'll stop watching it when you punch your computer screen at the the expense of hearing another 'KAKERU-KUN!"

It wasn't very scary for me...though it does have quite suggestive scenes (include mostly shadowed sex near the end). After the somewhat shocking opening scene, there's not really much gore or surprises, which is disappointing. The basic premises is that 5-6 students are subjected to the "Red Night", a phenomenon where they enter a parallel world of their city, where the moon is "black" and the sky is "red". While in the Red Night, monsters roam the streets, but the students gain powers of their own to defeat these dark creatures. Their goal in the series in pretty much to free a girl trapped in these crystal pillars.

This series was quite deceptive. In the beginning half of the series, the show had much promise, and judging by it, I'd give it a 8 or 9 out of 10. However, the show suddenly dissolves after this; the plot is now a draggy mess that progresses awkwardly. Especially at the conclusion of the penultimate episode, you'll be wondering "WTF just happen?". Another primary downfall are the characters, especially Yuka, who is whiny and obsessive, and spews the god awful phrase "KAKERU-KUN" countlessly through out the end of the series. Unfortunately, the rest of the characters are just as flat and you'll probably eventually start hating them because they're so tediously one-dimensional, and suffer incredibly stupid lapses of judgement near the end of the series. Long story short, incomprehensible plot later on and an dis-likable characters killed the series for most (like me).

The art was quite nice though. The character design are a bit uninspiring, but the action is animated nicely. The music was probably the saving grace of the series, though I still wouldn't say it's enough to recommend the series. There's an OVA of the series as well, but that'll just lower your expectations (unless you've finished the series, in which you'd know what to expect).

Meh, 6.1/10 if I were to actually rate this.
What appears to be an interesting concept in the beginning is soon dragged down by confusion, poorly functioning characters that you'll grow to hate, and quite possibly the most annoying female protagonist since Kagome.

Is Noir a good anime? Good anime suggestions?

Noir is rather highly rated, but going by tone of the series it might be hit or miss for you (given how you received those other series you mention), but if you give the first episode a shot it's a good indicator.
I think you'd be into Darker than Black (there's also a sequel 'Darker than Black: Gemini of the Meteor'), Monster (amazing psychological thriller/mystery series) and Ergo Proxy (cyberpunk at its best), perhaps Gun X Sword as well (the mecha aspect in this last is similar to Code Geass, as is the style, but the atmosphere is quite different. You could also try Trigun, Nijuu Mensou no Musume (Daughter of the Twenty Faces), Jigoku Shoujo (the story has an episodic nature, an overarching plot will eventually come out though and is elaborated on in the sequel series), Fate/Stay Night (the visual novel is darker, especially the latter two scenarios from it that aren't quite covered in the anime series), Berserk (very different to anything you've listed, set in a medieval era, but one of the best series out there as far as the manga is concerned, and the anime does it reasonable justice so far as it covers), Gundam 00 (this is so good it might turn you into a Gundam fan and I've found no Gundam series ever really disappoints, two seasons), FullMetal Alchemist (one of the more mainstream series I've suggested, but it's a very good one at that, the new anime FMA Brotherhood covers the manga closely while the original diverges), Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (two seasons again), Red Garden and Witchblade (based on the American comic series of the same name).

Which are the anime shows as good as Death Note?

I’ve just watched 3 anime so far, and I’ve described them below(excluding Death Note).Well Death Note was the first anime I ever watched, so I’ll assume the same for you. After completing it, I kind of developed a positive vibe for watching anime!Death Note was under Dark Thriller genre, so I’ll assume you will like dark themed anime.Tokyo GhoulIt is based on the concept of Ghouls(those who eats only human flesh to survive), and how our protagonist(Kaneki) deals with his life, when he himself gets turned into a ghoul after a certain series of events.2. Steins;GateI won’t say much about this anime, but this anime is totally worth watching. For first 6–7 episodes you’ll be willing to discontinue watching it, but after those 6–7 episodes, this anime will gain much pace, and you’ll be absolutely regretting for getting a thought to discontinue this masterpiece.P.S. :- Some people compare it with the level of Christopher Nolan’s work.My next watch-list includes (Same genre as of Death Note) :-Code GeassMonsterEdit :3. MonsterJust finished watching Monster, which is 74 episodes long, and maybe you'll feel that it's too much for a storyline, but let me tell you it's very nicely set and is very important in the development of all the characters of the anime.A must watch if you love suspense and little bit of dark genre.Story is about Dr. Kenzo Tenma's (protagonist’s) journey to find out some secrets about a person, that he treats and later he himself becomes victim of some tragic events. (Just wrote differently to avoid spoilers!)And let me tell you, it has one of the best anime antagonist of all time.

Was the anime kore wa zombie desu-ka a good show?

Synopsis: Aikawa Ayumu is a normal high school boy. One day he is killed by a serial killer and revived as a zombie by a necromancer named Eucliwood Hellscythe. He starts to serve Eu as her guard but he happens to deprive the mahou shoujo Haruna of her magic power. Haruna orders Ayumu to fight against the anti-mahou shoujo system "Megalo" in her place.

Worth watching:
Maybe it’s because I’m getting old and senile, but it seems that the more anime I watch, the less sense they seem to make. You could imagine my confusion when I started watching Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? "Why is the zombie weak to sunlight but not the vampire? Why the hell is he in a pink frilly dress? Why is that monster a giant lobster?" In exasperation, I put these questions to a good friend, and I found that his reply turn out to be a very apt one-sentence summary for my review.

He said to me: "I dunno lol, who cares? It's ******* hilarious!"

Everything in Kore wa Zombie Desu ka, from story to character to humor, is based on complete outrageousness. I hesitate to call Kore wa Zombie~ an original anime, because it's seems that Kore wa Zombie~'s idea of originality is to take as many ideas as possible, exaggerate them to the absolute maximum limit of the imagination, and then cram them together into a single, epic anime.
