Are These Light Bulbs Compatible With Toyota Aygo

Why does Toyota make ugly cars?

Toyota does make weird looking cars, but if you think about it, your grandpa might think that the Lamborghini is hideous compared to ol’ Rolls Royce, or that fish tail ’57 Bel Air. People would get used to weird looking designs over time as I learned from my Design History class. People would want something new and fresh in design over time. And Toyota is bold enough to make the first move, because no matter what weird element they put in the ’16 Prius, people would buy because they know the car is bang for the buck.I used to take designing classes but now I am a senior in Mechanical Engineering. (Will be talking more on the design aspect than engineering.) One of my first design classes is really pushy, the professor wants this and that. She kept yelling at me that “I want something that is eye-catching, special and out of this world! (not to confused with hipster-ism)”. Some professors are more accepting to more regular designs. Come to think of it, have you ever looked at Lady Gaga’s outfit? It looks so weird even for today! Heck, everyone adores her for her uniqueness. You can watch videos of Lexus design team. What they had to do to create such different cars? They get inspiration from others, the wealthy and the rich. They went to California to get inspiration from the wealthy community and talked to some designers there, thus designing a car that is appealing to some members of society. If you just look at Acura, Lexus, Lamborghini, Audi, Mercedes, they kinda look the same in its respective product line. That’s because branding is important and the wealthy wants something that is uniform, and recognizable in shape. You see 4 circular shape in the front and that gotta be Mercedes, 2 beans on the grille and that’s a BMW. Toyota however puts more to the crowd, that funky Yaris for the urban zip-around, Corolla for the everyday driver, Prius however, is a weird looking gas sipper who sits in the middle of traffic during rush-hour. Toyota is experimenting on branding over here, now people would be like “Oh what the hell is that thing over there?”To be little bit rough of language here, Toyota has the balls, guts and confidence to make weird-looking cars because people trust the product, the brand. And if you ask most Toyota buyers why they buy the car, usually the respond would be “Yeaa… its weird looking, it’s alright, but I’ll still get one”.One last thing, take Nokia as an example.

My car indicator is going double speed - what could be causing it?

As others have says, it's flashing faster because a bulb isn't working. You do however state that you've changed the bulb. It's a Renault, so I expect that if you inspect the bulb holder it will be corroded. You need to clean out that corrosion for the bulb to work. Also check for any wires with damaged or split insulation.Renaults are terrible for having problems with lights!

How do you change the Daytime Running Lights on a 2003 Toyota 4Runner?

DRL in this vehicle is actually the turn signal bulbs. Remove screw holding turn signal assembly. Release the claw fitting. Remove assembly. Twitch bulb socket. Replace bulb. Go golfing.

How do you use a car cigarette lighter as a charger?

Most modern vehicles have the cigarette lighter socket only live when the ignition is on. It is very simple to change this to a constant fused feed, but make sure that no children could put a cigarette lighter in the socket and start a fire or burn themselves, as this was the primary reason that cigarette lighters in cars were changed to the accessory circuit quite a few years ago. A lot of cars have a ‘power’ socket which is compatible with the same plugs and these are often live all the time as they are great for inspection lamps, vacuum cleaners etc. . To use this method to charge the car battery is simply a matter of wiring your battery charger of whatever type to a cigarette lighter plug, but if your charging source is a high capacity (high current) source such as another car battery or high capacity charger it is essential that you have a fuse in the circuit of no more than 10 amps.Bear in mind that the tip of the plug on your charging lead is now at 12v+ and you would short your charging circuit if you grounded it anywhere, including to the outer part of the socket - so only activate the charging side AFTER the plug is connected. You can’t use this method for an immediate ‘jump start’, but 20 minutes of charge from a good source should enable enough charge to start a car if the battery was low. If you simply want a method of connecting a trickle charger, either mains or solar, there are OBD2 charging connectors available which go into the diagnostic port and in which case you don’t need to modify any wiring.

Why do European cars have only one reverse light in their rear where as Asian cars have two?

A single fog light is generally better than a pair. The single light is less likely to be confused with brake lights, whereas a pair can mask the brake lights. Following drivers see a single bright light, then a pair when you apply the brakes- if you have two fog lamps, it’s less obvious. What does this have to do with reverse lamps? Well, a single fog light has to be either central or on the drivers’ side of the car. If it’s on the drivers’ side, this leaves an empty space on the passengers’ side. A single reversing lamp can fill this spot nicely. If the fog light is central, you generally have two reversing lamps. For vehicles that are sold in both left and right-hand drive form, it’s simpler as you can just have a different set of rear light clusters with the fog and reverse lights swapped. This is an old Ford Fiesta, registered in Germany. Since Germany drives on the right, the red rear fog light is on the left side, with the reverse light in the corresponding position on the right. For the UK market, these two are swapped. This is a Peugeot 206. The rear fog light is located centrally and low down. Therefore there are two reverse lights to maintain symmetry.
