How do you deal with two faced people ?
This probably won't be the best advice you will get Bex but because of the type of person I am I would confront them! My life is too short to spend time having to deal with people like that, so I would ask them what their problem is? Hopefully I'd be able to resolve it but if not well who really cares? My philosophy is I have some truly great friends what do I care if some mean spirited, lonely bullies have nothing better to do with their time than talk about me. That's what they are Bex bullies or you can take the same attitude as me and say to yourself, "My god they must be so jealous of my wit, my obvious happiness that they feel the need to talk about me" Or the old chestnut, If they are talking about me they are leaving someone else alone.
Why are people always two-faced?
What a question !!!! A friend of mine asked similar question few days back.Why do people have dual face or are two faced!!The answer is simple. Some people are way to manipulative.What kind of people you will usually encounter in this world are:Selfish but straight fwd Selfish but manipulative , masked people who are in general control freaks; these people crave for attention and are seriously dangerous.Kind onesIgnorant ones.People generally only fear the direct selfish one . but they are true and most honest ones. They are selfish and will accept it openly.you don't believe in such people openly and they never cross your line.Double faced people will pretend to be your friend but actually will backstab you when you are vulnerable.they are selfish and control freaks, they talk sweet to get there work done.they are passively dominating. In general they are the frenemies.Kind ones generally are more ignorant . ignorant ones are less selfish cause they don't force there selfish wills on others apart from the above two examples.
Why are people so fake and two faced?
Because we live in a world where personal interests are more important than kindness. People follow their goals through any means, no matter if the attitude they show is not the one they would usually have. There are though persons who remain the same no matter the situations and, once you find these persons you have to keep them close, as they are rare. These are the people who are constant in their beliefs and are honest with themselves and with others.
How can some people be so two-faced?
Not knowing the person in question I can only speculate but I would guess that in his mind he feels he is justified for some reason, and there is always the possibility that he is correct. I worked in a place where the house would take a cut of the staff’s tips and if you complained about anything or weren’t on-call for shifts all all times they would reduce you to 1 day a week so you’d quit and they wouldnt have to pay you unemployment. They did that to people who gave them loyalty. When I was unable to fill in as a dishwasher- I was a barista- they did the one day thing to me so I would have friends come in order food and coffee drinks, they’d give me a dollar and I’d give them change for a 20. I figured they deserved worse but thats all I was going to personally do…well that and I poured honey behind things and in the seams between appliances and the walls resulting in a pest problem after I’d finally quit.My point with telling you this is that almost without exception people do not believe what they are doing is wrong regardless of whether it is or it is not. This means that the decency you expect from people is either too high of a bar or they feel as if they are not getting their expectation met. When a person feels slighted you see their nature, in my anecdote I stole not to benefit myself but to feed others at the cost of despicable people at my risk of being caught. Noble? No… but not evil or indecent. Perhaps there is something like this going on with the person you are speaking of?If not then it is likely a petty sense of self entitlement, or over appraisal of how valued his efforts are and the requisite lack of appropriate kudos such an over appraisal will lead one to believe one is getting.
How can I identify two–faced people?
Two-faced people are manipulators. There betray some very telltale signs -A manipulative person is self-seeking, pure and simple. He thinks only of his objectives, he considers no method wrong when it is the question of getting what he wants. He doesn’t care much about ethics/morals/gratitude/loyalty. He doesn’t have emotions for others. He is also sweet, a good talker and cool person. He is selfish. For him, ends justify the means. If he has to trample upon others to achieve his goals he thinks it is just fine. He lies conveniently and can build a wall of lies that can last a long time. He is better than an average lier.Traits of a manipulatorA person fakes goodness just to manipulate you. How can you uncover a manipulative person?Manipulators are soft spoken.They never lose their composure.When they speak to you, they are all sweetness.They bring in all sorts of tangential points to confuse you and thus blunt your thinking mind.They have ready answers to all your doubts & questions.They magnify the potential advantages to you. Actually they make you feel gaining everything and they, losing to you.They can argue in such a way to put your words back in your mouth without you realizing it.After the event, you look back and find nothing gained except being taken for a ride.They talk as if they were living exclusively for your benefit.When you seek some help or other, they cry a lot. Then they explain their inability so eloquently that you come away feeling extremely sad for hurting them.You can’t catch them in one incident, you will have to keep track of how many times you ended up with empty hands, after you had been dealt with.Now, you can see what are the above attributes applicable to you. Why are "so many" white people so fake, phony, two faced and such hypocrites? It's become a perpetual issue!
well, it is very unfortunate what happened to your best friend. I think that it is fortunate that your friend did not have the same views of his parents. You sound like you were close. Please do not judge all white people by what his parents did. Not all white people are fake. Just like not all black people are fake. But the world around us shows us the differences and prejudices only and usually not the good things inside of people and of this world. Assuming that you and your best friend were the same age since you were in school together....I think that should show you that there is a new generation that is trying to emerge from the old statistic of black vs. white. It is an old and stupid thing racism. I used to be in the military. I associated with all kinds of people from all different backgrounds. I have meet many people. Many people are afraid to bring up sensitive subjects to people of other races because they are afraid to offend them. This does not mean they are racist, it means they are actually trying to make the world a better place and lessen racism. It is terrible that Mike's parent were like that, but please do not judge all people by one group of people's actions. All of you were/are hurting from the loss of him. It is not a time to make decisions about life, it is a time to heal. I am truly sorry for your loss.
People are so two-faced. How could one recognize the real ones?
Nobody is a genius to find out about the other person in the first meeting itself. some may discover, but they might be right or wrong. Therefore, give some time.. It will consume some time.. but will be worth it.Ok its quite simple!The more you hang around them, the more you will discover about them.. you just need one thing to know their entire truth.. then you can be cautious about everything..you will find out some of the shocking signs..They will act like Chameleon.They will try to hurt you while being nice.They will laugh, smile, with you and at the same time pierce a needle into you, without you realising..They cant be trustworthy.While hanging in groups, they will act as if you are invisible!All care, concern, love, support would be confined to words.. never in actions.. and if they try to show..it will be unauthentic..They cant stand at your progression in anything.. This is a common disease.. but should not be among your close ones..Remember, no one is perfect!!.. every one makes mistake.. even your pal for life..but the stark difference is that a fake person will always HURT you..in everything..I would like to quote a verse from the Bible which talks about two faced people, it is taken from psalm 55:21 it goes like this..(His words are as smooth as butter, but in his heart is war)This means that his words are as smooth as lotion, but underneath are daggers..You will be facing, residing with such kind of folks.. hey!!.. don't worry, nor flee away.. you can stay cautious, serene.. and simply be good.. which would eventually multiply your level of happiness….Let nothing get to you!!..Thank you!!

Everyone wears different masks in front of different people. For example I'm sure you don't behave the same way around your best friend and your mom.The problem is some people, actually a lot of people… scratch that…Everyone has acted “double-faced”.When someone tells you a secret and then you go and tell other people or when you make fun of people and act normal towards them when you see them, then you are the “double-faced” person that someone is asking about on Quora..If people could just strive to be kind towards one another and accept them for who they are the world would be such a better place.
