Zoloft sexual side effects after ONE PILL!!?
Is this normal?! Yesterday, I took one 50MG pill of Zoloft around 3PM. Then around 1AM or so, I masturbated... Normally I finish pretty quickly, as in like 5 mins. I normally have to hold myself back from finishing too quickly lol. Well last night, first off it took me like a minute to even get "hard" even when watching something.....Then it took me like 30 mins to finish. How did one pill have such a strong effect? I liked the lasting longer part, but I don't like how hard it was to even get aroused. I had to force myself to even get aroused.... and even that took like a minute to get hard. And if I took one 50MG pill tuesday around 3PM, will the Zoloft be mostly out of my system by thursday night? (I only took one pill, total, on tuesday, nothing today and won't take anything tomm) As in like, will the sexual side effects mostly be gone by then? I do like the "longer lasting" but i hope by thursday night the "taking forever to get aroused" side effect is gone, or at least mostly gone.
Anyone take Zoloft 50 mg? What are your side effects?
I started taking this in March for anxiety, nerves, being a single mom with 1 child & to reduce the side effects of coming off some other stuff. Since then I have insomnia, wake up once in the middle of night, 1:30am, 3:30 am or 4:30. I hate this. I feel at times (at work) I am in a fog like I don' t know what I am doing. I make stupid mistakes! I don't want to loos my job. Or my mind will go blank for a few seconds, messing up at work or like driving in my car gotta think for a second what I am doing. I've notice weight gain is starting up. I hate taking antidepressants. What else can I take? Do I need something for adult ADD? I am 44 yrs old. I've always had a problem with concentration or MAKING STUPID MISTAKES! Not always focused! And so tired when I get off work, no energy. Don't feel like doing anything. I also take atenonol (tenormin) for heart flutters. Could it be from the atenonol? So frustrated!
Side effects from starting Zoloft (50mg tablet)?
I was diagnosed with Panic disorder YEARS ago. The first medication I tried was Zoloft. The only side effects I experienced were low libido and a decreased appetite until I was moved to 200 mg. Then the anxiety kicked into full gear and I had to stop taking it. I never felt any relief from this medicine, only side effects. How were you doing on the 25 mg? Any relief? If so, the full 50 mg may just be too high for you. When doctors attempt to level a dose, especially with psychiatric medications such as SSRIs, each person responds differently so you should let your doctor know about these symptoms. Maybe he/she will reduce the dosage back to 25 or simply start a new regimen as was the case for me.
What are common side effects of Zoloft / Depakote?
i have been on depakote for the past 9ish months. i started zoloft a couple of months after that. a lot of weird things have been happening to me and i dont know if they are from the medicine or not. for example ive thrown up almost every morning in the past couple months. my head constantly SPINS, to the point that i sometimes lose mi balance and almost fall over. I stopped taking my zoloft a few weeks ago, and ive been feeling VERYYYY SCARED lately. like ill look somewhere and ill see scary stuff that i know isnt there.. i also feel as if ive gained weight. i cant stop eating. my weight is only like 3 lbs above how it usually is, but im afraid that 3 lbs will turn to 5 then 10, etc.... is any of this normal or typical while on zoloft or depakote.. or when suddenly getting off zoloft
Pregnancy symptoms, or Zoloft side effects?
all you can really do is take a test to see if youre preggo. zoloft while pregnant is extremely bad and can cause birth defects. they actually have a lot of commercials about this now! if you are even a day late, take a test!! fatigue, breast tenderness, and nausea could be early signs of pregnancy. however read the label with your zoloft.. it should have a bunch of side affect, normal and serious, and super serious ones and check if any of those are on there. just buy a pack of like 2 or 3 tests and take one now, and then wait a couple days and take another and so on if you don't start it. i don't know why you're taking zoloft, but i do know stress causes your body to change and can affect your periods also!
Why is it that Zoloft has all the reverse side effects for me?
Common side effects would include increased appetite (leading to weight gain), loss of libido, inabiltity to orgasm, and increased need for sleep. For me however, is the complete opposite! I have no appetite whatsoever so I lose weight. I have tons of energy when I take it. And, since I've been on it I've been having great sex and my libido is so much higher than before. I'm crazy horny all the time now and because of Zoloft I can now achieve multiple orgasms everyday! Are all of these effects normal? One of my doctors suspected I was bipolar because SSRI's can induce mania. I was put on Effexor at the highest dose (which is one of the most likely to trigger mania) but I reacted fine to it. I definitely don't hate these side effects! LOL I was just wondering why it would have the reverse effect on me?
