Is it just me, or do women age worse than men?

I honestly do not think women age faster then men. I believe it is a predisposed prejudice to view older women as ugly but wrinkles on an old men as acceptable. Society places much more importance on women being young and beautiful. There is not near as much importance on mens' looks. Women have to stay under a size 6, have big breasts, wear makeup, have toned butts to be considered exceptional pretty. As soon as women hit a certain age and begin to show wrinkles on their face they lose value and are considered ugly. All this is not applicable to men.

Is it worse when women cheat than when men do?

This is a Standards and Morals question morally everone should be true to their partner, but to say that women are more submissive borders on discrimination of women, because there are many men also who can be a submissive individual so all human need to be in the same catagory together,,,I never ever saw what thrill one got out of cheating, its just the fact that if you are not happy where you are you let the current partner go before subjecting their lives to drama they never even asked for,,,since when did one become the ruler of someone elses life able to hurt and mash up anothers heart,,,,? Your answer is it doesnt matter what sex you are, its not right on either side

Women are far worse than men, primarily because it's so much easier for women to get a guy. If you send out 1000 emails maybe 5% will respond. Women will have 90% respond. That's just the way it is. The most superficial characteristic is height. Women are more concerned about a man's heigh than any men are about ANY physical characteristic women have, even weight.

If it's any consolation, the 20 or 30% of the guys who get all the women learn that it's so easy to get more they rarely stay with one woman, so although she's getting laid, she's rarely happy.

Women cheating considered worse than men?

Does anyone ever feel like there is a double standard when it comes to this issue?

EX. I've seen this on YA before.
If a military man cheats, it's understandable. He's a man. He was going through a rough time.

If his wife cheats, she's a whore. A slut and had no excuse.


I'm not saying either is right. They are both wrong. But does anyone here feel like there is a bias? As if women are held to a higher standard than men?

I'm a male.
In my insignificant opinion, a female cheating is worse, Think about a full fledged sex encounter, the male cheating just puts the penis in someone else. A female has something put inside a space that is supposed to be "magical, off limits" to everyone except whom she is truly in love with. If you are truly in love, either one in the relationship, they cannot cheat. They quench at the sound of being with someone else in any way.

Either way, cheating is equally bad. From a mans perspective, the female cheating is worse. From women's perspective, the male cheating is worse.

Just another question that can never truly have a solid full proof answer, besides, its wrong. If you can cheat on the one your with, just leave them and save the heart ache, you (the cheater) obviously has no feelings if they cheat. Whether its a spur-of-the moment kiss, or a passionate night with one of their best friends. Its wrong. Simple.

It's about tit for tat in my book. While I might notice slightly more women doing something unlawful, when I witness a really bone headed stunt it is normally a man driving. I have also noted very high ration of very young (16-25 years old) men on motorcycles who quite probably won't make their next birthday. I am an old motorcyclist and like pilots, their are old motorcyclists and bold motorcyclists but there are few old bold motorcyclists.

Like you, I have no scientifically gleaned survey information. I am stuck with 40 years of driving experience and 43 years on motorcycles..

Mile for mile, women get in more accidents. But because men drive much more than women, they get in more in the tally. Men often have driving jobs like cab and truck drivers.

What really sucks for men is that all that exposure on the road is usually done in a vehicle that is insured separately from their own personal vehicle. They are insured twice. So when they get a ticket driving a big rig, it raises their personal car insurance rates-even though they are never home to drive it and cause the personal insurance any risk. The fact that they are exposed to speeding and other traffic ticket hazards (truck drivers are constantly stopped and inspected for thousands of possible violations) at least ten times more than most women or non career drivers does not mean they are more dangerous. It just means they drive a lot more. A little old lady that drives to church once a week could be a horribly risky driver but nobody would know because the route is easy and the chances of a cop being around to bust her 20 minutes a week are very low.

Do you think that women are worse drivers than men?

My mother always said women were worse drivers, but I don't think along better/worse lines than she does.

What I have noticed:

Women tend to be more timid drivers than men, which confuses male drivers (myself included) because we have certain expectations, such as the driver will get into a space if you leave enough open for them, whereas some women drivers will not be sure that is enough space.

Also, if you are at a turn light a man will get into the intersection so he can go when the light turns yellow or red whereas women will be more likely to stay behind the line and wait for the next light. My father would say if you do not get in front of the light you should have your license taken from you and I agree. Therefore this would be where I would say women are worse drivers. My wife would say that this is why men are worse drivers.

The real issue is experience. My wife will not drive unless she thinks I am impaired (tired or injured, I would never drive with any alcohol in my system) because I am more experienced and it is culturally considered more appropriate.

I have a lot more speeding tickets, so I am certain the law would say I am a worse driver. :) I think it is interesting you work with a law firm and have stats. Do you think women are more or less likely to get out of a ticket or get off with a warning than a man?
