Life is about finding the courage to find yourself, and when you found yourself it's about loving yourself the way you are!

The soul is something that we are born with. So the formulas to finding yourself already exist within you. Our experiences, help to augment these characteristics. Such as losing a loved one, the birth of a child, etc. They say its not the destination, but the journey. So the act of "finding, or "creating" ones self doesn't seem to have a whole lot of merit. The keys are in your pocket. You need but to reach in and grab them. Think of it as more of gathering enough experience to enforce the traits that already exist
Is life a process of finding yourself or creating yourself?
Ultimately we want satisfaction and happiness in life. But satisfaction from any event cannot last for ever. It is unsatisfaction and some kind of gap which drives us for pursue new goal and then a new level of satisfaction .A person cannot be happy for ever. Then it won't be happiness anymore. Level of happiness is actually benchmarked from sad part of our life.What does it mean then?Life is then a match making process of what you really think/believe and what you do. For example if you wish to become xyz. But do you want it more than what you are doing right now, let it be sleeping, partying, doing nothing.If yes you will satisfied and happy even when you failed due to some other reasons.So life is continuous process of creating. But creating life ( structuring what you want and your action) starts with finding yourself.This is analogous to any kind of project/ assignment where you do situation analysis, evaluate the options and then creating the optimal solution.
What is the meaning of this quote? "Life isn’t about finding yourself, it’s about creating yourself"?
I have been tasked to write a play based on the above-mentioned quote (it's the theme). Could someone please shed some light on what this quote could mean and how I should approach it. Ideas for a play are also welcome! Thanks!
In life do you find yourself or create yourself?
Life is a creative process and you are the creative person…Sometimes, the creative person may not know what they want to create until they’re actually creating it. While creating it, they may develop some ideas and be able to envisage how the final work will look like and work towards that.But, more often than not it is as if the creative work has a life of its own and will start directing the person towards a certain direction…like it merely needed our assistance to plant the seed and feed it, and it will take form. And then, the final work will turn out to be quite different from what was originally conceived. Consequently, the creative person would be changed by it, and subsequent works would be different from how they would be if the creative person had not underwent such a process.Sometimes, it’s unclear whether the creative person created the work or the creative work created the person.What is certain is that there is an amazing and continuous feedback loop between the creative work and the creative person.
