Do you use computer very much?
Too much actually! Each time I sit at my office desk, my eyes immediately gets glued to the pc screen. I use the pc for varied reasons and it's so nice that I can do a lot at the same time. I can do official work-related matters simultaneously w/ personal matters like net-surfing, chatting, etc. And I sure am getting addicted to this YAP page. Computers are the now and the future. This says it all on how I feel on its importance for us and the generations to come. Whatever new inventions that would be better than all the useful things that can be done through computer use would be a hell lot of a great new thing.
How do you know if the computer in your car is fried?
What problems did you have before this?? Replaced a battery, or charged a dead battery?? -- in car?? Were the cables hooked up backwards, -- you can put reverse charge in battery, -- it of course is not real good for battery (and only happens when battery totally dead)- if you hook up cables wrong with at least some charge in battery, it makes an arc- like an arc welder! (and could "blow up" battery)! If new battery installed, - are the connections right! If backwards it will eat computers and other electronic equipment "like kids eat candy"!! Now we have played the "battery game", -- are you sure that the battery is fully charged! If weak enough nothing will work right (or at least not for more than a few seconds).... So engine will not crank, fuel pump of course will not pump, and computer do much of anything! And yes lights will go out when only a small amout of "load" is applied! If the computer is not getting electricity,(it wont work of course), - so It would be wise to look for fuses, - or "fuseable links" that might be bad, -- if battery is indeed charged up good! == Fuseable links are just a piece of wire a little smaller that wiring on car to prevent wiring loom fires! They do this because it is cheaper than putting in fuses -- these are sometimes very hard to find, since they may not be out in open, but hid somewhere! (great engineering)!! So my guess is that it is definately electrical,-- but you will have to hunt around a whle to figure out what part!!
If K12 sends you a loaner computer..?
Hi! I'm in K12 CAVA. For California. Anywho, I got a loaner computer and it's a nice HP desktop it's nice and slim and it comes with the printer that's also nice. They seem new, well the one I got was. I use it to do my work and after I'm finished I play on transformice.com hah it's a mouse game and you get cheese and all. But, I go on tumblr too. It is supposed to be for school only, but lots of kids go on FB and all that either way. You won't get into serious trouble unless you download things on it that you're not supposed too
What is a good way to say "very good with computers"?
You are computer literate. Without school certificates, there is no way to prove how competent you are. Being proficient means you can perform all types of operations, from web design and development to hardware maintenance. Sorry, you really do need a certificate from at least a Tech school to make any better claims.
If you are listening to a song on your computer are you using hardware or software? and can you explain?
In single word you are using BOTH. Explain- The CPU, monitor, speaker or earphone, keyboard, mouse etc. that you can touch are hardware. The software or program such as the operating system, windows media player, ms office, paint etc that you cannot touch actually but they are shown on the monitor are called software. # You play the music with Windows media player or any music player that means you are using software. And the software itself is showing on the monitor(hardware) that is run by CPU, another hardware. Hope you got it..
How can I come to know that Computer Science is the best field for me?
I am assuming we are referring to computer science and engineering (graduate level) here.Engineering is not yet another extension of school that you join first and then figure out. It will prove to be a ‘costly’ mistake for many. You intend to earn some livelihood using your skills for at least a few decades after graduation. And you also want to make sure you enjoy your work. Right? Then please spend a few months doing some ground work before you sign up for a particular engineering stream.I will talk about Computer science here. It is unique in a sense. Here is how you can do the ground work.1, Get a laptop (smartphones are too congested to work) and Internet connectivity and start exploring.2. Start programming. Refer any online tutorial. Let’s say you picked Java. Write simple programs for a month. Understand the various constructs available in the programming language.3. Grab any data structures and algorithms book with implementations in Java (you may find some decent and free ebooks, if you search). Watch plenty of YouTube videos to understand. Continue to code DS & A. Spend a month on this.4. Gather the courage to build a small app. How about tic-tac-toe?5. Will you be able to sacrifice the next IPL/football match/new year celebrations in order to finish the above implementation or fix some annoying bug? That shows your passion and level of commitment. It is an indicator of how far you will go in this field. Be prepared to miss some events in your early life of CS if you are serious about a career in it.Computer science is not for everyone. It requiresstaring at the screen for long hours daily.sitting for long hours daily.applying Math, DS & A and good coding/design practices.learning new things and/or applying your learning almost daily.debugging hard issues without much help.doing proof of concepts, turning them into real products, testing, documenting and maintaining and moving to new proof of concepts. Can i run a computer without a motherboard??
a motherboard has everything connected to it. and the motherboard has control over the cpu. like a real mother and everything else is the children of the mom. u need a mom to help u out and feed u and control u. without a motherboard the computer wont work.
