Why do people rate and critique movies they haven't seen? I see it a lot for audience reviews, when the film hasn't come out yet.
People who are fans of directors, actors, or franchises will rate a movie they haven’t seen highly in a show of support. Or they may be so excited about an upcoming film, they can’t refrain from rating it beforehand solely on the basis of their expectations.Conversely, there are people who will downvote a movie they haven’t seen because they see it as a rival to something of which they are a fan. For example, a Marvel superhero movie fan may downvote an upcoming DC superhero movie, and vice versa. People may also downvote a movie in a form of protest. They might not like what they’ve heard about a movie’s content and link that to some larger issue that they oppose. By downvoting the movie, they are protesting the issue that the movie represents to them.
Have any of you seen the movie The Hunt (2012)?
Haven't seen it, but it sounds like a timely movie, and I'm surprised that one of the Hollywood moguls didn't pick up on it, as with 'Minority Report' which clearly shows the very real danger of employing 'laws' that allow a person to be convicted and punished on a presumption that they may do something - just as occurs in DV already. Now I wonder what Minority Report was aimed at? I am currently sideline coaching a case of a wrongful conviction on no evidence of substance of a man over a child molestation claim, and am awaiting further advice and info on what is happening with the leads I offered to the person who approached me over it. You are absolutely correct in saying that the moment a claim of some sexual misconduct is leveled at a man by a woman or child, he is considered guilty. This must cease in the West and is a vile and violent abrogation of Law and a cancer on the breast of Justice herself.

Has Jussie Smollet’s attorneys bribed or coerced the prosecutor to drop all charges?
Absolutely not. I was there. Besides, nothing ever happens without my express knowledge and consent… Seriously, if what I have read since regarding the relationships between the key players on the prosecution's side and former Chicago officials including Barack Obama are true, there would be no need to resort to such unseemly conduct. Were there outside influences and pressures brought to bear? Unsolicited phone calls or texts? Probably. But nothing illegal. Smollett was not going to go to jail on a first-offender non-violent crime that was overcharged in a 16-count overkill accusatory instrument. And forfeiture of bond is no small matter. The only thing that bothers me about the entire affair, was not the dropping of the multi-count felony indictment (though I cannot recall a similar case) but rather the lapse in failing to impose a gag order on the defendant to comment afterward-- comments which predictably only added fuel to the fire. Asked to comment on the entire affair, Smollett cleverly came out with a Chicago in the fifth inning type remark, that being, “My fans know that I love them.” In all fairness, you cannot be contrite and remorseful about something you haven’t taken responsibility for.
Is lauren a known brand of a guitar?
If you are a beginning guitarist, this is a perfectly adequate guitar. Judging from the responses you've already received, I'm willing to bet that none of these people own a Lauren product. I have two Lauren guitars (identical) that I use as loaners to students, and as "yard guitars" (something you can haul outside in the summer and not worry about). Oddly enough, for $29, they are very well made. I have yet to have one warp, the finish has held up, the neck is SOLIDLY attached to the body, and they have better tone and volume than a similar $99 guitar of a different brand. If you're looking for a cheap guitar, this is a good brand to purchase. I refuse to take my $3000 Taylor out to the campfire, but the Lauren fits the bill perfectly. Sounds nothing like a Taylor, but what do you expect for $29? The other thing that's nice is that you can make any sort of modifications you wish without fear of losing your shirt. I changed one of mine from steel to nylon, and raised the nut on another to use it for slide. Fun to experiment with. To the other answerers: Don't knock it if you haven't tried it. Harry Haddock who played for Clyde in the 50's & 60's was never booked. Probably harder to get booked back in they days though. I doubt there's anybody in recent times who has achieved this.
