As A Tourist To Lebanon Can You Tell Me Wtf Is This

In a tourist point of view, is Lebanon safer than Pakistan?

If you are talking about politically safe, I would say no. Both Lebanon and Pakistan are not as problematic as the rumors say. They both have a stable regime under much millitary influence. However, you will definately feel less safe in Pakistan cuz its indian lifedtyle and more density population, especially in Lahore and Karachi. Peshawar is more Arabic style and more disordered.  The food and drink is always poisionous for tourists:(   In north west Pakistan there are sonetimes tribe conflicts happening. Although no casualty on tourist for now but being guarded by armed soldiers will inevitably make you feel it not safe. Moreover if you are tired of the real life and must  visit Balouchestan,  bon voyage!Lebanon is quite pleasant in this counterpart. Beirut downtown(and Hamra, Gemeyze etc.) is very western-like as it is called ME Paris. The other part like Tripolis is totally Arabic style. Both Western zone and Arabic zone is traditionally clean. You can see many UN forces in south Lebanon but it wouldn't make you feel any nervous. The only thing worries foreigners is the traffic.

Why do tourists visit Lebanon?

Why do tourists go to New York or London? I have lived in London all my life. I don’t get why does everyone like London so much. There are 3 amusment parks around the city, and Winter Wonderland during the winter season. You get so excited about the tube and buses, I use them everyday. The weather is always dull. London Eye is one of the most boring things I’ve been on. Yet so many tourists love UK. Same thing about Lebanon. Lebanese people who live in Lebanon say ‘If you live in London your so lucky’. Lebanon is the best to me. The weather is excellent, if you want snow, you go to mountains in winter, if you want to tan in summer, go down to beach with 40C, or up in the mountains take a breeze where it’s 20C. In Lebanon driving is fun, as most laws for driving aren’t taken, so you can have races etc. and have fun. You can go hunting without a permit for hunting. It’s those sorts of things that make it fun.

Is the Batroun area in Lebanon safe for tourists?

it is safe.. NOW.
hope nothing happens by summer :/

What are the advantages and disadvantages of tourism in lebanon?

The advantages are the number of different experiences available in such a compact country.....

The disadvantages are the unpredictability & volatile nature of violent events that can erupt without warning ..

What do you know about my country Lebanon?

lebanon is the most beautiful country in the middle east…it was mentioned in the bible, and famous for its mountains ,cedar trees, food, music ,and very attractive people. It is the only arab country who has a christian president!!most lebanese are trilingual (ARABIC+FRENCH+ENGLISH).This tiny country has 3 faiths (muslims, christians, and druze) ,and 18 different denominations living sometimes in the same city.People have a secular europeanlike life style while they still observe their lebanese traditions and family values.

Push and pull factors of Lebanon?

Pull factors:
1) life in the cities ( Beirut Junieh and Jbeil mainly)
2) the lebanese cuisine
3) the lebanese people and how they love life
4) the nature (not everywhere though)

Push factors:
1) everything is expensive and prices are getting even higher day by day
2) the lack of political and economical stability
3) the politicians themselves
4) the lack of safety (especially in some areas like the north or the Beqaa )

In a word ... If you are rich or have a good amount of money in your bank account you will have a beautiful life in lebanon and you can forget all the problems ... But if you are from the middle class or below , you should think twice before moving here to lebanon especially if you live in a more developed country

But if you want just to visit lebanon , then you are welcome no matter what because problems here in lebanon mainly affect its citizens not its visitors

Is Lebanon- Beirut safe to visit?

It’s not only safe, It’s the most beautiful city you’ll ever see.

Will Lebanese people agree to accept me as a tourist coming from Israel? I know that it is forbidden by law, but I’m not interested in the legal aspect. Needless to say, I would love to visit there.

Do not tell anyone that you are Israeli. Have a back up bullshit excuse and make sure to have no indication of your Israeli origins on your person. No Hebrew packaging, no Hebrew/Israeli apps on your phone, no +972 contacts or social media profiles that can be found by looking up the name you have written on your second passport.Speaking of which: you will not be able to enter as an Israeli, nor as a person with any proof of you having visited, nor especially been born in, Israel. If you are a recent Olim, (for example from France) and have a French passport with your place of birth written as “PARIS”, then use that passport. Buy yourself a SIM card upon arrival in Lebanon, ditch anything to do with Israel on your stopover point (in Cyprus or Jordan)Fly out of Israel as an Israeli (mandated by law), present yourself as a citizen of whichever country you have origins in (e.g France, Germany, Poland or the US) and enter into the transit point. Store your Israeli passport somewhere safe with someone you can trust. Then leave that transit country as a citizen of a country other than Israel and fly to Lebanon. It is best to have an EU passport and to fly via Cyprus as then you could say that as an EU citizen, you cannot get stamped when flying in and out of other EU countries, should you be asked why your passport is blank. If your place of birth is Israel, you will need to ask for a passport with a fake place of birth, or a blank passport without a place of birth altogether, which, on a not-so-busy flight can have you pulled over and questioned. Why would a normal, obviously-not-Arab-Muslim-trying-to-fly-to-the-US-and-thus-wanting-to-hide-his-Yemeni-place-of-birth gentleman want to not have his place of birth written on his passport? You would need to trace back citizenship of whatever country your family migrated from if you are a Tsabar.
