Is underage phone sex illegal?

I'm 15 and live in England. You have to be 16 to have sex over here.
I have been working weekends at a pub and the landlord there who is 32 has started flirting with me and I really like him. He's started texting me and calling me and we have phone sex most of the time. He keeps telling me how much he wants to have sex with me but will wait until I'm 16. We've done other stuff twice together but not full on sex.
We keep it a secret at work because he doesn't think it will look good considering I'm not yet of legal age and the age gap.
Is this actually illegal what we are doing?

Is it against the law for children to not go to school in the UK?

Children above a certain age have to receive an "efficient full-time education" suitable to their age, ability and aptitude, and to any special educational needs they may have, but that education can be either by regular attendance at school or "otherwise" (the position in Scotland is pretty much the same as in England/Wales/Northern Ireland, although the language used in the legislation is slightly different). It's against the law for them not to get an education. It's not against the law for them to not go to school provided that they are being educated in some other fashion.

Is it illegal to go trick-or-treating when you're over 18?

There are many jurisdictions that are enacting laws that children over a certain age cannot trick or treat unless they are chaperoning a child under that age. A city near me just enacted a law that anyone over the age of 12 cannot trick or treat (Belleville, IL). There are also Halloween "curfew" laws that say that trick or treating can only occur during certain hours. Most jurisdictions that enact these laws have have crimes occur that they think they prevent by enforcing them.

Is it against the law for religious parents to force their children to go to church and believe what they believe?

No it is not against the law in any country that I know of, despite an increasing number of children turning up on places like this web site with tales of parents who regularly force their kids to attend religious ceremonies despite the youngsters declaring their lack of belief. When a child is being punished in any way for not believing, in the same way they would be punished for bad behaviour, I say this is an attack on that child's human rights. No child should have to attend church if they do not want to.But then, this is just another sad hypocrisy of religion.Religious leaders will shout to the rafters about human rights being abused in other countries but never speak out to the parent dragging a kicking, screaming child to a service that child obviously does not want to attend. And why?Because if religion does not brainwash kids, it has no future. If it had to start with adults, it couldn't survive. That's why religious groups are so keen to build schools rather than help supply food and water. That's why primary schools are riddled with religious paraphernalia. That's why religious propaganda spreaders are always on the school governing boards and spend so much time in schools. It's very hard to find laws that don't work in favour of the dominant religions of the country in question, which technically is a breach of the human rights of anyone who does not hold the same views. Paraguay is a prime example of this. Every week, in average two abused girls between the ages of nine and fifteen give birth to babies because they cannot legally have abortions, despite the danger of pregnancy. Despite a lifetime of looking at a child born from abuse. If caught the abuser gets a couple of years and is free to abuse again.Yet to change this sorry state of affairs, the Catholic church would have to admit it has policies that are wrong. And saving face is more important to Christianity than the trauma of poor young girls in Paraguay, or AIDS victims in Africa who contract the disease because the church told them (lying) that condoms spread the disease. That's death by religion, still going on today.God bless religion!

Should school age kids be allowed to work? I ask because growing up I wasn’t allowed to have a job or even take drivers ed! What are the pros and cons in your opinion of allowing or not allowing school age kids to work?

Currently my school recommends we (16 to 18 year olds) work about 7 hours a week, and no more. For the following reasons, I actually obey that rule:I get tired super easily.I occasionally revise and because of my job I have the time to.My job pays me really well, I can do overtime when I want a little bit of money, and I really enjoy the work. However, given that the UK’s largest outlet hell hole is about 30 minutes away, the majority of my school work there. I still get paid more an hour than most of my friends, but they work a hell of a lot more, and as I work at a school, they can work in the holidays. I make about £1000 a year, which I’m fine with, my friend makes 5 times that.Personally if I worked as much as my friends do, 5–9 after school, and often both Saturday and Sunday on the weekends I’d be exhausted and my school work would be impacted. But to be honest, school age kids should be trusted to make their own decisions, about how much work they can deal with and whether it’ll affect other stuff. Not being able to learn how to drive is a bit ridiculous, but perhaps that’s just because I live in a semi-rural area and not being able to drive effectively puts you under house arrest.

Can a 16-year-old child choose not to have visitation with a parent in full custody situations?

No.What complicates this issue is enforcement. If a parent has visitation, and a 16-year old refuses to go, it isn’t the same thing as a 6-year old refusing to go. A 16-year old is capable of running away, physically resisting, etc. So, if the parent being deprived visitation files a motion for order to show cause, the judge is hesitant to enforce the order being violated. One of the defenses to being held in contempt is that you are not violating the order intentionally, i.e. the violation is happening because of events out of your control.
