What height do you consider tall for women?
Probably 5' 6" or more----can be considered tall for a woman. At 5' 5", you are not considered short. You will add more inches in growth---well beyond 15.

“Short”, to some people, has to be at least one standard deviation below the average height. In the United States, the average height for men is 5′10″ (if white and under 30, otherwise 5′9.5″), so one standard deviation below that would be 5′7″. If going by data and statistics, 5′7″ and under is considered short for men in the US.However… if we go by society at large, who don’t give a damn about statistics, then anything below “average” (even in the slightest) would be considered short, by them. Assuming these people knew what the average was - 5′10″ or 5′9.5″ - then going by society at large, anything 5′9″ or less is considered short for men in the US by a LOT of people in society. Especially considering how women are commonly 5′10″ and above, nowadays.Furthermore, some people only care about how ‘tall’ someone is. (Mostly, other tall people.) And if you were defining it by whether or not someone was tall, then going by the elites in society and all tall people, anything 5′11″ and less for a man is not considered tall (i.e, short).Keep in mind, “short” and “tall” are always 100% subjective and the only statistical fact is the median height.

That depends on what country you are comparing to.Women are considered short if below 5′3″.“Average” is anywhere from 5′4″-5′6″“Tall” is any woman over 5′7″.I'm in the 6′1″ “Amazon” catagory…lol I have never heard anyone say anything different than “you are tall”. To some, I'm a giant. I wear high heels, which makes me 6′5″ and have actually been told that “I have no business wearing high heels”. By complete strangers…lol. I think they escaped from The Lollipop Guild and were out to break some knees.. ;-)
Do you think someone who is 5ft. tall would be considered a midget?
First, you should know although midget and dwarf are often interchanged, according to the Little People of America,the term "midget" is considered a pejorative term (ie. offensive) to many of those who suffer from the condition called dwarfism. The acceptable terms are usually "dwarf" or "little person". Second, Little People of America (LPA) defines dwarfism as a medical or genetic condition that usually results in an adult height of 4'10" or shorter, among both men and women, although in some cases a person with a dwarfing condition may be slightly taller than that but they are often far shorter than 4'2. Dwarfism also consists of more than just being short in stature. Welcome to the GWS club of short people. Rio and myself are also people who have a height of 5"0-5"1. *Know It All, I don't personally define what is considered offensive or not, I simply gave the questioner an extra tidbit on information per the Little People of America website. I consider their opinion on what is offensive to them the most important.

It doesn't matter much. Girls grow faster and earlier than guys. So you'll be taller earlier.

It depends with whom are you comparing him with ? A guy who is 6′1″ is :Not tall. Not even close.2. Tall. Enough.Depends on your perspective ;)
