Atheists What Is Your Biggest Argument Against Everything

Atheists: What is your best argument against Islam?

ALL religion is bollocks, and each one is more bollocks than the other.

What's the biggest argument against a deity existing?

I’m going to argue against the deity named God here, rather than all deities, because God is a popular deity. The most successful argument against God, is the problem of evil. Many an atheist de-converted from their religion, either because they could not explain why their prayers were not answered (for example, I believe Frank Dauenhauer fits into this category), could not justify the evil nature of God as portrayed in the Bible, or couldn’t justify instances of evil they see all around them.Basically, the argument goes like this. God is supposed to be Love, right? How does a loving God sit by and watch millions of innocent babies suffer horribly painful deaths every year? Why doesn’t he answer sincere prayers to heal a loved one, and instead lets them suffer a painful death? How do you explain the fact that he nearly exterminated the human race in the great flood of Noah, unless you’re going to go all metaphor on me? What about murdering the innocent Egyptian children in the tenth plague? Oh, that’s right, we all get to pick and choose which parts of the holy book are literal, and which parts are metaphorical? Or maybe you’ll argue that our brains are so simple, we could not possibly understand the mind of God?There’s your biggest argument against the deity named God.

What are the strongest Islamic arguments against atheism?

Since all gods in all history are *only* the claims of (mostly men) and ALL gods are silent and have Been silent for very very long and all main religions originated before humans understood Psychology, Emotional Hypnosis and appreciation of Awe and all books claiming to be written by a god or inspired by a god or dictated by a god are mere claim and can Never ever be confirmed then what does it matter as all religions cannot be trusted ?Arguments (and claims eg for power) don't cut it any more !All are trying to push an agenda of control under the guise of claiming authority giving the impressions explanations which are overall very irrational and all mainstream religions want: Status, Authority & Punishment with pepperings of devotion (obviously to maintain control). Some of the worst religions Demand immediate & instant Death of anyone who changes their mind about having joined but, this killing cannot be left to the god, it is considered a form of twisted honour that it must be done by a "religious leader" or demanded of another follower without any sort of justice, care or love with the presumption that "if you were good then it doesn't matter because its stated you will go to heaven"...In ALL cases the god that claimed to write all books/nastiness cannot ever verify Anything !Should we trust Any religion that relies on (emotional) claims only ? Where is there any religion anywhere that has ANY evidence ever for any angel, spirit or that the voice in a cave is from a powerful god & not someone's whispering echo or the magicians trick of a burning bush can somehow be a conduit for all peoples equally all over the world ?Has any god ever in all history been fair & treated or communicated equally ever ?I might be persuaded to trust a god directly if and only if it could:- Bring into existence a fully indestructible bible with our name (correctly spelled) and popped into existence for us at the age of puberty so we could decide for ourselves whether to be mere followers but, is this ever likely to happen ever & especially so as there isn't a god able to stop children dying anywhere since the dawn of time :-(ie All are mere claim grasping for solidarity through emotional hypnosis, power & threat !

What are the best atheist arguments?

What arguments?Once upon a time a caveman saw a lightning and said to the other: “it must be god” - hence, religion started. The other caveman replied: “I don’t believe you.” - hence atheism. No argument required for the latter as there is no claim there. But for the first guy… oh, well…

How would you respond to this argument against atheism?

I remember this funny conversation when I was in Jr. College.I was chatting with a group of friends when this topic came out and we started debating. A friend of mine, who happens to be very religious, was enraged on how could someone not believe in GOD.I said something like "Atheism is the default setting. Everyone is born Atheist. You are just made to believe a theory which has no proof."Him:" Everything needs a creator, A simple object like a Pen cannot happen by chance, so how can you say that this complex universe got created by chance."Me: " Universe was not created, it was already there from eternity. And life didn't originate by chance, it was almost bound to happen. Considering that we have millions of galaxies and trillions of planets, at least some planets will have the required conditions for life to originate and sustain, and since universe remained from eternity sometime or the other the right molecules might have combined for life to happen."Him:" How can universe be present like that, from the beginning, somebody has to create it. GOD created it"Me: " OK then who created GOD."I laughingly said" Off course, you assume GOD was already there, right?" everybody chuckled including that friend. Most people seemed convinced but that friend was like you believe whatever you want to.Basically, it is very difficult to change the core beliefs of people, no matter how good your arguments are. When someone's core beliefs are challenged, their beliefs only get stronger.
