Will a straight talk sim card work in a Nokia lumia 521 purchased for t-mobile no contract?
I recently switched from straight talk to the t-mobile monthly no contract plan and got a Nokia lumia 521 which is a windows phone.....I love the phone but hate tmobiles service it's 2g so very very slow...I'm wondering if a sim card from straight talk will work in the phone.....straight talk does not carry many windows model phones

Straight talk has two possible carriers behind the scenes. One is AT&T and uses the same bands, as AT&T does. In this case the phone you want will work well, because it will support AT&T's 3G bands as well. In the other case, and this one really only applies if you have one of these SIMs already, Straight Talk has SIM cards that you cannot buy anymore (but still totally work) that support the T-Mobile Bands. You really don't have to worry about getting a new T-Mo compatible SIM from Straight Talk by mistake. The only time this would concern you is if you ALREADY had one of these SIMs.
