Attack On Titan Dubbed Viewing

Attack on Titan: English Sub or Dub?

Honestly it really doesn't matter what language you watch Attack on Titan on since they will both give you the same experience, If you haven't watched Attack on Titan yet then I think you can start watching it in dub since it would be easier to watch then looking at the English subtitles.

But if you want to her the original actors, and original dialogue of the show then I think you can start watching it on English sub since you get the non-edit scene made by Japan.

It all about your preference and how you feel when watching it. I finished the sub of Attack on Titan and even though I watched some of the dub episodes, the actors aren't that bad unless your comparing them to the original. You'll most likely enjoy AOT in English dub if you haven't watch it on English sub. But if you watch AOT in English sub then you will eventually like it anyway.

Where to find episodes 14-26 of Attack on Titan English dubbed?
I just finished watching the first half eng dubbed, and I watched episode 14 eng subbed, and I didn't like the subbed at all. Are episodes 14-26 dubbed? Or do I have to wait until they get dubbed later in the year?

There are quite a few platforms to watch the dubbed (and/or subbed) version of Anime programs. I have an issue with the word free, first. Nothing by cable or network is free. Streaming cost, whether bundle packaged or not. Watching it via your favorite app (IE, Adult Swim) still costs data; as well as some apps with subscription services. With that said and in mind, I can share a few resources that will air dubbed episodes of Attack on Titan - all 3 seasons.Hulu - great subscription service that has all 3 seasons in play right now.Funimation - great app to get. They have all seasons that you can enjoy.Crunchyroll - this app only has the subbed episodes. Although I had heard that they might invest in English dub in the future.Adult Swim - the network station (check your local listings) has the 3rd season currently in rotation at 3:00am Sunday mornings (Eastern Standard Time).Whether you subscribe your service or use the app, Attack on Titan can be found and binge worthy watched for your enjoyment.

Where can I watch Attack on Titan OVA english dubbed?

They have never been dubbed so there are no where to watch them dubbed, havent found any news about dubbing them too

In general, I like subs over dubs, but I've actually watched both. They're both equally good, in their own ways.First thing I'll address and just get it out of the way: EREN'S DUB SUCKS. Not to be rude to the voice actor, but this was not the role for him. It sounds really REALLY American which is not necessarily a bad thing, but it really can take away from the serious scenes. In fact, I nearly found myself laughing at him in some bits. Also, when he goes into titan body, he goes into what's been labelled 'edgen' mode by fans, where his voice gets really grissly and sometimes inaudible from all the anger in his voice. It may just be the editing, but it almost sounds comical.BUT. Most of the other voice acting is pretty good. The voice actors of Levi, Hanji, Erwin, Jean and Mikasa show the best performances, and Armin's voice actor pretty much nails the scream where Eren is eaten, no matter how memed it gets. The rest of the voice actors sound pretty genuine and natural as they speak, except occasionally Bertold, Connie, and Sasha, but in my opinion, it doesn't take away from the anime. So, dubs are okay, if you can sit through Eren's strange accent. Then you come to subs. The subs in my opinion, are fine. The voice acting is great for all characters (as expected) but there's always the down side that you constantly have to look down at the bottom.I did find I was occasionally confused with what was going on, but that was more from my slow reading than anything else. Usually, there wasn't talking in the action scenes, so the subs didnt take away from the action, but on the rare occasion, it only sometimes took away from the scene. So, the sub was pretty great in general.I think I have to say that I recommend the dub to the sub, but only because I personally find it easier (because I’m a slow reader), and occasionally got left behind. But, they're both quite good, and even though I'm giving Eren's dub a bit of stick, it's tolerable when put up with the other dub voice actors.

Why so much hate for Attack on Titan dub?

I'm a film major, studying to be a director. I have also completed 2 years of Japanese.
For one, if you know anything about Japanese dialect, you would know that emotional tones are highly emphasized. Japanese people express emotion different than us.
Our language is really dull, lifeless almost. Our words are long and lack emotion. It would be nearly impossible to fill the emotional gap between our languages. So many hardcore anime fans prefer subs, opposed to dubs, because for a fast paced emotional ride like AOT, its hard to find voice actors who could liveup to the infamous sub. Emotnal context is a biggie for this anime.
The main charters sub voice is proud, stern, powerful, like his charecter plot. The dubs voice is trash. Weak and undistingished. On top of that the cast of supporting main characters voices were all main character voices on previous exceptional anime(like samurai champloo).. So the hero's voice pales in comparison. And that would ruin for most people my friend

Will Netflix get the Attack on Titan English dub?

So I LOVE the series and introduced it to a few of my friends. I have seen a few episodes of the dub and prefer the Japanese version over the dub. Some of my friends would rather watch it in English and my computer won't play long videos without lagging, and even though I have a cord to plug it into the tv, it's not even worth trying sometimes because of the lag. Anyways, to get to the point, does anyone know when Netflix will be getting the dub?
