I can assure you there will be problems, and that is true with any 7–8 years old car. German cars tend to have more issues related to electronic components than the Japanese rivals. If the car is a Turbo charged one, the turbos could go out around 100K mile mark - more common in the BMW 3 series- 335i and less turbo failures in Audi’s.
