Avermedia Lgp Troubles

AverMedia Live Gamer Portable Wont Record On PC Mode?

So I got my AverMedia live gamer portable in the mail to day and I set it up using HDMI for the Xbox 360. I tried recording on PC Mode and when I try it just shows a black screen and "records" for about 10 seconds and then says "Unknown Error". So I tried to record using PC Free Mode using an SD card and it records fine. So im asking for help on why it wont record on PC Mode.

AVerMedia LGP lite no signal Xbox One?

I have an AVerCapture HD GL310. I've connected the Xbox One's HDMI cable the the capture device and a second HDMI cable into my monitor. When I launch AVerMedia RECentral it can detect my console just fine and I can even record videos, but I cant see what's happening on my screen. I know both HDMI cables work as I've tested them both. All help is appreciated.

Using Avermedia LGP along with an external monitor on a laptop?

Heya, so my laptop has a VGA out and an HDMI out. Now I have tried connecting the Avermedia LGP to the HDMI out and my second monitor to the VGA out, problem is I don't get any signal to the LGP when my VGA is in use. Seems like I can only use either the VGA or the HDMI at a time. Is there an alternative to this? I have an Intel i7 with an integrated graphics card + Nvidia GT540M but it appears the VGA and HDMI both are attached to the integrated card. Any advice is appreciated. I have heard of USB monitors but I don't know much about them.

Why won't my Avermedia Live Gamer Portable work?

I'm trying to connect it to my PS3 and I've plugged the AV cable thing that the Live Gamer Portable comes with from the LGP to the PS3. I've also connected the HDMI from the TV to the LGP in "HDMI OUT". The USB cable is plugged into the LGP and my PC. That's all the connections done. I've I downloaded RECenter and it says "unable to find any supported devices" once I had turned on my PS3. I held my finger down on the power button of the PS3 until a second beep was heard (just like I was instructed to do) but nothing appears on the screen.
The LGP's LED is a moving blue light that is just going around in circles. I don't think this is right because I was led to believe it would be red until I started recording.
Is there something wrong with my laptop? It's windows 8 if that makes any difference.
Someone please help. TELL ME WHAT I CAN DO! I spent a lot of good money on this and the fact that it is not working is starting to piss me off.

Avermedia live gamer portable (c875) has bad input lag in preview?

i just got a avermedia live gamer portable, and it setup quickly and without hassle. sounds great. i thought i was ready to hook up my ps3 with their custom component cable and hook it up to my computer and be ready to go. but this was not the case. the video preview it shows has a 1 second lag. making every game completely unplayable. how am i able to record anything without seeing what s going on?

just to make sure it wasn t anythying wrong with the unit itself, i hooked the cable up to my old ps2, and it played the games just fine! it still had a tiny bit of lag, but it was completely playable. why is this? what settings in the ps3 cause this lag to happen? is there a way to fix this in the avermedia recentral software that it comes with? is there another software solution to use besides recentral? any answer to any of these questions would be greatly appreciated.

What kind of game streaming hardware do i need? (PS3)?

I have a PS3 system hooked to my tv via HDMI cord. I would like to stream and record my gaming for youtube and twitch. I have found many different devices that can do this, but the only problem im running into is that i need a piece of hardware that can record voice both from my microphone and from the other gamers in the same session as me. I have been told that there are some that can do this when voice output is set to come out of the tv but are there any that can do that when i have voice audio directed to my microphone instead?

HARDWARE IM USING NOW:
SONY PS3 SLIM- HDMI HOOK UP
SONY OFFICIAL BLUETOOTH HEADSET

Also, the price needs to be around $170 dollars, give or take $30. Thanks!

Why is there no audio on some stock video footage?

Audio set ups complicate shoots and are harder to control. If you aren't shooting audio you can use a smaller crew and you don't have to lock down the set sound wise. For example, you don't have to worry about exterior noisss (loud neighbors or planes flying over). You don't have to hide lavs on each actor and have a boom operator to get overall sound, it just easier. And since a lot of stock clips are used as broll, are visuals to compliment someone talking or are set to music, most people aren't looking for stock clips with natural sound.
