Baby Crying When I Feed Him

Does your baby cry when hes done feeding from a bottle?

Oh yes. Quite normal. In the middle for sure because he wants to keep eating but you're interrupting him. But keep up with the burping, momma knows best and if you dont his tummy will hurt later. At the end, maybe he want's a little more, let him decide how much he eats. If he doesnt want more but still continues to cry, try a binkie. Thats what I do with my daughter. It seems to pacify her.

What should I do if my baby cries after feeding him?

Tummy troubles associated with gas or colic can lead to lots of crying. The rather mysterious condition known as colic is usually described as inconsolable crying for at least three hours a day, at least three days a week, at least three weeks in a row. If your baby often fusses and cries right after being fed, she may have some sort of tummy pain. Many parents swear by over-the-counter anti-gas drops for babies or gripe water (made from herbs and sodium bicarbonate), though neither has been proven to be effective. Get your doctor's okay before using either of these. Even if your baby isn't colicky and has never been fussy after eating, an occasional bout of gas pain can make her miserable until it passes. If you suspect gas, try putting her on her back, grasping her feet, and moving her legs in a gentle bicycling motion. Burping isn't mandatory. But if your baby cries after a feeding, a good burp may be all he needs. Babies swallow air when they breastfeed or suck from a bottle, and this may cause discomfort if the air isn't released. Some babies are intensely bothered by having air in their tummy, while others don't seem to burp or need to be burped much at all. Pediatrics: Why would a baby that has just been feed still be crying to be fed?

A baby is competent of telling you what he needs at all times... Though it can be confusing, this situation could mean a number of things:1) He may still be hungry, so it could just be that you need to stay with him and feed him a bit longer. Young babies nurse a lot and it can take a very long time! It might be helpful to pump and then feed out of the bottle one time completely so you have an understanding of how much breastmilk the baby is actually ingesting in one sitting. If for some reason, you don't think he's getting enough milk in one feeding, you may need to supplement with formula. (However, I'd consult your pediatrician first -- the amount of food a baby needs can differ depending on the baby and birthing circumstances.) Just because a baby is spitting-up does not mean he's necessarily done. In the case with a baby with acid reflux, for example, he may need to spit up multiple times throughout one feeding. 2) Sometimes babies want to be held or want the breast to soothe them or help them fall asleep. This is totally normal! They may also suck their fingers, thumb, hand, or a different inanimate object like a paci. This is referred to as "nonnutritive sucking"  and has its benefits: it helps an infant to self-regulate emotions; it helps a baby relax; and, it provides comfort and security. However, I'd recommending removing a baby from a feeding situation and into the bed or crib before he falls asleep completely. He'll find his hands very soon enough -- within the next month, or so -- and the breast may not be necessary for self-regulation any longer. Good luck!

Why does my baby keep crying even after I fed him?

I see that there is a WONDERFUL answer already about the different reasons that your baby could be crying. All I will add to that is that whenever your baby cries it is asking you, it's loving parent, for something. It may even be that he or she just wants to feel close to you. This is the time period when we are teaching TRUST. If your baby cries it needs to know that it can trust that its parent will answer. At this point this is even more important than taking care of whatever discomfort or need there is. Always, always answer he or she, no matter what. If not, you are teaching them NOT TO TRUST, which is a basic human need in order to feel secure, grounded, safe…… and to be able to trust enough to be able to be in relation to other people. So please remember to hold your baby! Then no matter what else is going on, they are learning that they can count on people AND that, with a loved ones help, they can get through ANYTHING!!!

Baby cries when drinking her bottle?

I know how nerve racking this is !!! I feel your pain !! I breastfeed but my 3 month old daughter does this to me too her Pediatrician told me it was exsessive gas built up - my daughter pulls away and then gets frustrated, screams & cries and tries to nurse again but then repeats this again until she turns red and her eyes bug out at me!!!-she even kicks and hits and wiggles and squirms !!! anyway -when she does this I give her a chance to see if she will stop and then if she doesn't then I try to burp her until the gas loosens out - another thing to try is to lay her on her back with her diaper loosened so it doesn't get in the way -and take her knees put them together side by side and gently push them into her stomache and hold for the count of 20 -this will help relieve gas almost instantly - most of the time my daughter will "TOOT" pass gas when I do this -it shocks me sometimes cause it sounds like more than just gas and I was told you could cause her to have a bowel movement this way too which is good when they are constipated !!LOL !! but this was taught to me in an Infant Massage class and it works ( I suggest reading up on infant massage or taking a class its very benficial for the baby & parent)- her pediatrician even suggested it - if this or extra burping doesn't work ask her Ped. about baby gas drops to give her - good luck hope this helps

Why is my baby crying and gagging everytime i feed him meat baby food?

My kids could never eat the meats like this. The stage one meats are nasty and plain. The second food meats worked better when the fruits and veges were mixed in with the meat. This may work for your baby. You could also try to mix a little applesauce or another fruit or vege he likes with the meat. He is a little young for meat, so if he does not like it in the way I suggested then wait a couple more months.

My Baby Cries when i put him down?

SWADDLE SWADDLE SWADDLE
It was a life saver with all four of my boys. Get the blanket good and snug and when they fall asleep it's easier to lay them down and have them stay asleep because the swaddling helps them to feel held and secure. You can also let them cry some. If he calms down quickly then yippy. If he continues to cry then just pick him up. Babies get bored and lonely too. This stage doesn't last long and soon you will be wishing for some nice cuddle time and he will have nothing to do with you.

This is just a part of baby being baby. It's not easy when we have things we need to do. Or your back aches from sitting or carrying around this little bundle all the time. But you are a mom and this is what moms do. I too have thought that I would be craddling a 7 year old if things kept up. But after a few weeks things changed. Stay strong.

How do I feed 6-month-old baby medicine without crying?

When it comes to giving medicine to a sick, unhappy baby, it’s not always possible to completely avoid crying. So I will list some ways to get medicine into the child with the least mess and least upset— there may sill be some crying. You will have to experiment to see what work best for your individual baby.If possible, start while the baby is calm and awake, or just slightly sleepy. Comfort him/her but try not to make a big deal about the medicine or tense up.And then:Just get it over with— use a small syringe, and slowly squirt the medicine into the child’s mouth. Squirt a little at a time so the medicine does not spill out of the mouth. Aim for the inside middle of the cheek to encourage swallowing and avoid choking or gagging that can occur if you aim right for the back of the mouth.Be sneaky— Mix the medicine with a small amount of milk or a desirable food if the baby has started solid foods. Puree fruit is the most obvious choice. Only try this with a food the baby has eaten and accepted before, this is not the time to experiment!Use gadgets. At some pharmacies or online you can purchase a pacifier/dummy that has a compartment for medicine, which is slowly dispensed as the baby sucks on it. There is also a medicine cup that has an attached nipple that works similarly.

Why would a baby bird constantly cry (even after being fed?)

I’ve raised MANY baby birds over the years. If they are being fed the correct food, often enough, and are warm, they will be silent….. but only for about 15 minutes. Food goes through them very quickly, so until they’re able to feed themselves they need CONSTANT feeding from dawn until dusk. Once they start feeling hungry again, they’ll start cheeping, which, as Stephen Murray mentioned, is a request/demand for more food.

How do you soothe a baby that cries after eating?

If a baby cries after eating, he's got something going on.He didn't like the foodHe feels bloatedHe needs to burpHe needs to pee/poopHe was full, but you still fed him, so he's upsetIt could be a number of things.I usually help him burp, which clears up some gas, and moves things around a bit to help him pee or poop which fixes points 2–4I don't give my baby food he doesn't like, and I don't feed him more than he wants, so points 1 and 5 don't usually happen with me. Please don't force feed your baby.Good luck!
