Rum Substitute( non alcohol )In Frozen Drinks suggestions PLZ?
I bought Bacardi Mixers pina colada non-alcoholic frozen concentrate & Master of Mixes Strawberry Daiquiri/Margarita Mix to make Frozen Drinks But Im a 39 Year Old Mom who does not drink ,My son's Mammie (grandmother) is 57 and she doesn't drink and I want to set a good influence on my 18 year old son who lost his Dad in 1998 at the age of 22 Due to his driving while intoxicated my son was 5 and his step dad in 2007 to an overdose my son was 14 so addictive behaviors with substances I want to be a positive role model for him and i am, .Anyways But we like the fruity drinks with the umbrella's with the cherry's.But i need a substitute for the rum in the pina colada and a substitute for the rum tequila n the Strawberry Daiquiri .1. non alcohol substitute.2.Not water hats what the can says ,since they are going to be frozen and with the ice already being a water base more water makes it diluted ,watery.3.I as suggested Club soda.I dunno with fruity drinks! so any suggestions would be great .I apologize for the winded story.Thanks Gsmom

I'm acting weird. My vision feels weird. I feel like I'm floating. I FEEL SO WEIRD! This is my second time drinking. The first time I drank 4 shots of honey whisky. I didn't feel like this. That's just 2 ounces...you won't get drunk, but you might feel slightly buzzed if you don't weigh that much or have a tolerance(probably not since you are asking this).
Is calico jack rum nasty?
Since CJ is rum and vlad is vodka, it's a little hard to compare the two, but I'd say its roughly the same (both cheap, not hard going down). Compared to Bacardi though, CJ has more flavor, but is slightly weaker. It's a good alternative though. Keep in mind, when I say "good", we're talking about cheap alcohol.

Substitute for alcohol in Strawberry Daiquiri?
water would be fine, but it wont add to the daiquiri. when i make virgin drinks out of mixes, like margarita mix and daiquiri mix, i use different things, like strawberry nectar, ginger ale, club soda, or even sprite/7up. For a strawberry daiquiri, restraunts normally use sprite as the substitution, which is good, but i found that strawberry nectar mixed with a bit of club soda works great, because it adds to the flavor. Also, try cherry 7 up- the cherry and strawberry flavors match out nicely, and if you want a tang to it, try grapefruit soda. Good luck!
