Back Tension That Won

Chronic tension headaches won't go away?

As someone who suffers from frequent migraines and tension headaches, I know how annoying they can be. It really interrupts your life and makes it hard to function!
You should definitely go to your doctor and speak with him/her about your headaches. To help figure out triggers, start keeping a "headache journal". Your doctor will likely ask you to do this (mine did). Include time of day, what you did before you got the headache, food that was eaten (food can be a trigger), and any other information you think might be important. Your doctor will probably refer you to a neurologist for testing to rule out certain things. They will likely have you do an MRI to rule out certain problems just as a precaution.
Because of the frequency of your headaches, your doctor may put you on a medication to actually help decrease/prevent the headaches rather than having to constantly take medication to treat them. But the best thing you can do for yourself is to see your doctor and a specialist who can truly diagnose the issue and work to make it more manageable.
Hope that helps! Best of luck!

Tension headache lasting for 4 days bad?

I've had this tension headache for about 4 days now. It just won't go away I been trying to do other things to get my mind of it and relax but it's still there. I have no pain it's just a bother. I have this tightness all day from when .I wake up till I go to sleep. What could this be? Is this really a tension headache? I do stress a lot. I'm an extremely paranoid person. Can someone help me out here with this? I really don't have that much money to be going to the doctor I just spent 400 dollars for a blood test. Someone help me with the prob. Thanks in advance!

How does cracking your back reduce muscle tension?

Depends on the cracking. If you’re talking about a typical back cracking it doesn’t. The cracking sound is simply a release of oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide that was trapped in the joint capsule. If you’re talking about a chiropractor, they are trained to manipulate and realign your body. When your spine is out of alignment surrounding muscles will spasm or compensate for that misalignment in order to protect the injury, which can be painful and/or put undue tension on the muscle.

My migraine/tension headache won't go away. Any suggestions?

Well, I know for migraines your to drink VERY STRONG coffee so it opens up the blood vessels. Maybe try Mirgrain meds over the counter. I'd also consider going to a chiropractor. Your neck may be out of alignment. Use ice packs. If there is swelling. Maybe go back and forth from heat packs to ice packs every 20 minutes. Maybe soak in a nice hot bath or shower. Let the water run on the neck as hot as you can. And do neck stretches. They help wonders.

How do you meditate to reduce tension if maintaining proper back posture requires a lot of tension?

I agree with the other poster, but also, you may just find a comfortable place to meditate to start to learn to relax at all. When helping people go into a highly relaxed state, I can have them sit in a comfortable reclining chair. Zero gravity chairs are great too as they relieve pressure. Remember that the point of meditation is to help yourself move out of your present realities into a place where you can focus. If you don’t want to make improving your posture part of the process to begin with, then find a way to be comfortable and use progressive muscle relaxation to get yourself to lose the tension in your muscles. Once you’ve learned how to get to a relaxed, focused state and use meditation, eventually you can work on your posture if you choose.

Why do I get headaches when I don't crack my neck or my back?

Headaches are caused by tight neck muscles, when you crack them you have released the pressure on the muscles for your relief. The neck muscles go to the top of your head where they connect to muscles going around your head. When the neck muscles get tight they pull the head muscles into pain and that's your headache. While what you are doing is getting a relief to the muscles it still leaves them in a tight mode for the same thing to happen over and over. To keep that from happening you have to free up your neck muscles so they won't pull your head muscles into pain and here's how to free them up:
Neck Release:
Place your hands behind your head touching your fingers. Press into the back of your neck with them and hold the pressure on them. After 45 seconds slowly lower your head until your neck is fully extended. Release the pressure but hold your head there for another 30 seconds.
The back and neck do share muscles so that it they can affect each other when they go tight and it seems it's happened to you so freeing up your back muscles will stop them from tightening up at this time and here's how to free them up for your relief:
(do while sitting)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side. For both- for best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

Does tension between India and Pakistan is a sign of starting World War three ?

Probably no until china intervenes… the war may result in a ample amount of destruction in both the sides.. affecting Pakistan the most.. since both the countries are nuclear states.. the UN security council and other powers would persuade us to enter into negotiation and pressurise Pakistan to surrender or move back… so it won't lead to world war 3.Now another possibility is that when Pakistan suffers heavy losses… they may ask china to intervene.. if China intervenes.. the US, France,Israel and UK would back India.. Russia won't involve itself and Russia favours both china and India.. so the tensions may escalate.. this may lead to WW3…China won't intervene because India is one of their biggest market.. so who would like to destroy their crop right ? So china won't intervene… (I'm talking about military intervention)… since china won't intervene.. the other countries won't involve themselves into this controversy… the main focus of all the countries would be to end the war peacefully through negotiations.
