What was the largest empire ever?
In the history of the world, the largest empire ever was The British Empire.At its height in 1922, London controlled nearly 38,000,000 kilometers and nearly half a billion people (1/4 of the world’s population at the time).Countries and places such as India, Hong Kong, Canada, Israel, Iraq, South Africa, Ireland, and Australia all hailed the Union Jack.Their influence is still felt today. English is the most popular language in the world and their infrastructure is still maintained in these areas.On its day, the sun just would not set on the British Empire.If you are looking for a contiguous rather than one of colonies, the Mongols are up next. A world power 800 years ago, especially under the ruthless Genghis Khan, their rule stretched from Beijing to Kiev. 24 million kilometers fell under the Great Khans, however their lack of stability equals a fact that it is like the Mongols never existed. Besides some assimilation, there is little legacy from their rules like the British and Romans.
Since the trailer of COD: WWII is released, does it mean that the actual game is ready? If so, why do they have to wait until November to release it?
The trailer is taken from playable slices of the game but the game isn't fully ready, it means they’re bits and pieces that work.Imagine you’re building a 1 story house with lets say 7 rooms. you already got the Roof, windows and doors installed in 2 separate rooms… these 2 rooms already work as intended, so you “dress” them up by furnishing, painting the walls and whatnot… but the rest of the house is still missing a roof, doors, windows, and everything else… the house as a whole is still a work in progress. its not ready.CoD:WWII is this house, its got a few finished levels that were dressed up to look as complete as possible, and they work as intended (maybe a few bugs here and there) they have the core mechanics down but the rest of the game is still yet to be finished.. be it other levels, some mechanics, graphics, or whatever… its not ready.you can take a few pics of these 2 rooms to showcase the place, you can take footage from these working levels to make a game trailer.they have to wait until november because thats when their schedule says the game will actually be finished. it will go “Gold” which means its ready to go to print and distribution and hopefully reach market at its intended date.you could sell the house in that current state, much like you can pre-order a game while its still being developed… but the buyer wont be able to live in the house until its finished and you cant play the game until its ready to be published.
