Why was I permanently banned by PunkBuster from Battlefield 4, for no reason?
PunkBuster has been notorious for false positives over the years, but if you’ve been permanently banned, you’re going to have to petition to have it repealed through whoever owns the server you were playing on, which can be fairly easy or notoriously difficult.Before doing that I’d double check that you don’t have anything analyzing your memory, which could be anything from useful tools like SmartHunter for Monster Hunter World, or a debugger, dubious things like CheatEngine, which allows you to edit your memory on the fly, to malicious stuff like viruses.Without the message it spat at you when you were banned, that’s the best I can advise.

You should have installed patch 1.41 before 1.50, 1.50 is not a full patch! Otherwise you can try deleting the Battlefield 2 folder in Documents to reset the game settings, make sure you know your username or email and password as you will need to go to manage accounts, retrieve account.

Battlefield 3 Black screen fix?
Hey all, Bought BF3 a few weeks ago and decided to install it recently, Everything installed ok, i DL back to Karkan fine and went to play it Through Origin. When it finally loads in battlelog, my screen goes black and my mouse appears on screen with background noise for a few seconds, then nothing. I have tried repair install, driver updates, re-installing, Punkbuster updates and Internet browser changes From IE to firefox etc, but nothing is working!! (And yes, i have the english version, not Russian) So there is nothing wrong with my sound packs. I know im not the only one with this problem, but i havent seen any decent solutions to the problem yet, so i thought i may as well ask and find out! Battlelog on battlefield 3 is not showing the ping?
hello guys, lately ive been trying to play bf3 on multiplayer of course, but the thing is that, i havent been able to play properly because of lag and stuff and i always end up getting kicked because of high as **** ping (mostly around 238) wich is pretty annoying because i cant even see the pig on the battlelog when im searching for servers, it just shows the name of server players punkbuster thing and the ping just shows me a "-" wtf guys, can anybody tell me if this is normal? and what does it mean? ive always been able to play normally with the lowest ping as 98 but now i cant see any server that shows me a ping and when i connect, its very high, all of them

Paranoid much? You could probably schedule tasks (Task Scheduler: Run > taskschd.msc) that are activated when Origin opens or closes. (I set Origin to disable "desktop composition" so Windows Aero doesn't run while playing BF3.) Use the "net start" or "net stop" commands on PnkBstrA, the main PunkBuster service: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/libra... If you're really concerned with what PnkBstrA is doing when you're not playing, you can track it with Resource Monitor (Run > resmon.exe). Resource Monitor can track an individual process' use of CPU, disk, and/or memory. You'll likely find that it isn't doing much of anything when you're not in-game.
