Many of them here write about Messi and Ronaldo but for me the greatest goal ever scored in the UEFA Champions League is Roy Makaay's goal against Madrid in the 2006–07 round of 16 match,2nd leg goal. It is even the fastest goal scored in the history of UCL.During the 2006-07 UEFA Champions League, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid met in the Round of 16 match. After a high scoring 2-3 loss in the first leg in Madrid, Bayern returned to the Allianz Arena knowing that they were in good shape.Little did they know that they would start the match in Munich with a new Champions League record.Madrid kicked the ball off and sent the ball back to fullback Roberto Carlos, as one does. Carlos fumbled the pass at his feet, and it was intercepted by Hasan Salihamidžić. Brazzo drove deep in Madrid’s defensive third before passing the ball towards the top of the penalty area.The ball was picked up by Roy Makaay with nobody but the goalkeeper to beat.
