Why are Muslims often stereotyped as terrorists?
Q: Why are many terrorists identified as Muslim?Ans: Because the kind of world we are living in, demonizes the oppressed and glorifies the oppressor. Because muslims don't own CNN, BBC and FOX news.Because when USA/NATO/ISRAIL etc drop bombs on our cities, some of us survive with only one purpose to take revenge of our families. Because muslims have this concept of brotherhood which goes something like this, "The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion and sympathy are just like one body. When one of the limbs suffers, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever"_Prophet Muhammad. So, they see muslims getting killed every where, be it Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan etc. and nobody bats an eye, they have developed a sense of collective victim hood.Furthermore, terrorism is the most manipulated word in geo-political lexion. It means use of force or intimidation in pursuit of political aims. Logically it follows any organization(islamic or secular) which kills people to further it's political interests is a terrorist organization. Thus every secular nationalistic army is a terrorist organization too and YES it includes Armed forces of imperialist powers who fought two world wars and killed millions of human beings. So either you stop using this word 'terrorist/terrorism' or don't be selective in your condemnation.You want to know about the worst terrorist attack in history? It was carried out by most civilized nation on earth. You got me, i am talking about mighty USA. When Colonel Paul Tibbets and Charles Sweeney nuked Hiroshima and Nagasaki and killed 100 thousand innocent people. Even now children are born with deformities there. Or maybe you guys don't consider it as an act of terror because killing innocent human beings is less horrible if sanctioned by Nations or League of Nations. So, USA/NATO crusaders can invade our countries on false pretext of WMD's, plunder our natural resources, or for catching their boogeymen in Afghanistan/Pakistan and bomb our cities kill our children and when we retaliate, we are terrorists because they have got BBC, CNN and FOX news on their side, putting veneer over the dirty actions of their armies and plastering their agenda all over the international arena. We muslims are the biggest victims of terrorism. We are getting killed by both muslim militant groups and Western secular armies.
Why do some people dislike Islam?
I have lived among Muslims for 6 years as I was a student of Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi. In these six years, I never faced any big issue being non Muslim. In general people are nice if you are nice. However, you need to abide certain rules to have a pleasant experience.First rule: Never get involve in any kind of religion discussion. When it comes to religion they are very rigid.Second rule: Wear modest clothes if you are roaming in Muslim locality. One of my roommate's friend was wearing a tight t-shirt in the market (like this picture) and enjoying juice from a juice shop.. A lady threw a glass of juice on her T-shirt and rudely said drap a duppata around your t-shirt. She went in a shocked state.Source: Google imageOnce a man tapped on my head and ordered me to wear scarf on my head while I was going to one of my friend’s house.One of my roommate scored very less in her engineering practical exam because she forgot to wear kurta and went in t-shirt. The teacher of that subject had specially instructed girls to always wear three- fourth length sleeves kurti in his class. My other roommate who was doing PhD , his supervisor adviced her to wear only suits in his lab. Although not everyone is like that, my supervisor never said anything on my choices. Girls do wear short clothes. However in general they have conservative thought process.Third rule: If you are a woman, get accustomed to curfew time and many other things. Earlier our hostel time was 8:00 P.M. and not even a single late night was granted in a month. However as atrocities of management increased to have more control over girls' freedom, a protest took place (because it's Delhi) and now we have 10:30 P.M. time.After living for a long time among Muslim community, I realised that people are good and bad just like all other religions. The only thing that make people dislike them is their staunch religious beliefs which have not changed with the changing time.They blindly agree to whatever the Quran says. There is no space for atheism and questioning Allah.PS: I have written in haste, edits are welcome.

Well I wouldn't know since I fought in the Civil War and am answering from beyond. But a thought the library has alot of books on Wars and other helpful information and if you don't know what a library is. It's a big building with alot of books and many other interesting things.
