Do bearded dragons and crested geckos get along?

So yea, my main question is can i take them out together?

Bearded dragon or crested gecko?

I have done research on both but i don't know which one to get. I like them both but Is hard for me please help with which one will give the best experience and the one i will have more fun with.

Can a crested gecko and a beaded dragon live together in the same cage?

No, a bearded dragon and a crested gecko cannot live together. The bearded dragon is a desert reptile and a crested gecko is a tropical reptile. One needs to be in a humid place and one in a dry place. Bearded dragons need temperature above 90F, crested geckos will die in temperatures above 90F.

If you want a bearded dragon you will have to get a second cage.

A bearded dragon or crested gecko? i have to decide by sunday becuase im getting the cage.?

Crested Geckos are much easier and cheaper to care for as they don't need heating or lighting. They do need crested gecko diet, fruit purees, and crickets. They sleep all day and move about during the night.

Beardies need at least a 40 gallon breeder tank. Even a baby cannot be kept in a 10 gallon as it is impossible to have a heat gradient--hot on one side and cool on the other. They need heat lamps, digital probe thermometers, UVB lighting, and a baby will eat nearly 100 crickets a day until full grown! They also need fresh salads of greens and veggies every day. I would do a lot more research on both before starting to buy tanks and accessories. Just save your money until you know for sure.

Tortoise, Bearded Dragon, or Crested Gecko?

I'm a 15 year old girl, and I was going to get a hamster (i've had 3 before) but then I decided I kind of maybe want something new. In my house we have a pug, 2 cats, and a betta fish. If I were to get another pet, should I get a Tortoise, Bearded Dragon, or Crested Gecko? I didn't include turtle because I heard you can get diseases like salmonella, even though my brother has had tons of them and never got sick. What should I get? Pros and cons of each? I heard bearded dragons' tails can break off, and if that happened I wouldn't know what to do and would probably start crying, so how common is that? Thanks(:

Can a Australian Bearded Dragon and a Crested Gecko live together in the same tank?

Would the Baby Dragon (male?) get along with a male Crested Gecko? If not, how about a female? I have a large tank with the lights set up, and I just need decorations. Please answer! Thank you :D

Should I get a leopard gecko or a bearded dragon?

Having owned/owning 5 Leopard Geckos and 5 Beardies, I would personally say Beardies. However, you should ask yourself some questions and answer them. Are you willing to spend a decent amount on money if need be? If so, Beardie. More expensive due to cage size, and basking lights/UVB lights.Do I want something that will want my attention, and explores and have more of a personality? Beardie. Leo’s have some personality in them though!Do I want multiple of one kind? Depends, and it’s a very debated thing for both breeds of lizard. Beardie probably should not be housed together, unless for breeding, or you’re experienced. Leo’s usually have no problems with each other. Just provide atleast 3 hides for each Leo, and 10 gallons of space each gecko. Also, you should have multiple heat pads to cover the entire ground of the cage. Like I said, even with the Leo’s, this is highly debated, by in my experience I haven’t had problems with multiple living together. I’m sure people have and will provide their experience as well. As it is important to hear multiple perspectives.Do you like dogs? Beardies resemble them in some ways. How good are you at researching? Do not trust chain pet store employees. Before you buy, research exactly what each pets needs and buy ONLY what you need. Employees will try to sell you sand, don’t. They’ll try to sell a Leo a UVB light. Don’t. Be smart with your money and know what to buy.How mature are you? Are you smart with animals? Leo’s generally aren’t good to be around small kids. Especially if the kid isn’t calm with it. They can drop their tails, and it’s very stressful on them. Beardies our up with our Bs a little better. No matter what you decide, just know that you’re trying to pick between two awesome sets of pets who have their own pros and cons. Both are very rewarding to own, and watch grow. I currently have a 19 year old Leopard Gecko. So, by getting this animal, prepare yourself to commit years and years to it.Happy Keeping :)

Which reptile is a better pet, leopard geckos or bearded dragon?

As someone who keeps both, I feel qualified to answer this question. Honestly, it depends on what exactly you want from a pet.If you’re short on time, space, and/or money, a leopard gecko is a much better option. They’re significantly easier to care for than a bearded dragon. While beardies need a 40 gallon tank at an absolute minimum, leopard geckos can be comfortably housed in a 20 gallon. Leos also don’t need a heat lamp, UVB, plants in their diet, or daily feedings. While both require effort to care for, leos simply require less of it and if you want an easy pet, they’re your best bet.Bearded dragons are a little more challenging. They need a much bigger tank than a leo and you have to worry more about heating and lighting. However, you arguably get more back from them. Beardies are very docile, placid, pleasant little beasts for the most part and they’re a delight to interact with. Our bearded dragon loves to curl up in my mom’s jacket and takes naps in there. They’re a pretty handy cure for herpetophobia.Leos tend to be a little more squirmy and aren’t as fond of being touched. They’re still wonderful to handle as far as lizards go, but bearded dragons make them look like the most skittish creatures alive.Bearded dragons and leopard geckos both make excellent pets in competent hands and before you decide to get either one, do all of the research you can to find out which one best suits your lifestyle.
