Brown eyeliner for asian eyes?

I'm chinese with dark brown eyes, my natural hair colour is black (whether that's necessary or not) and I have double eyelids- just in case you thought that most chinese people or asians have single eyelids. I'm wondering which colour eyeliner would suite me best, black or brown? I'm aware that black eyeliner gives you more of a dramatic look; and I've heard that brown eyeliner is better for every day neutral looks. Right now, I'm most interested in the 'neutral' look but also want my eyeliner to look noticeable. Do you think brown eyeliner would look a little weird on asian eyes? What are the advantages of using brown eyeliner instead of black?

Describe the most physically beautiful woman you have ever come across in person...?

Your tastes and mine must be very similar!

For me... I gotta say this woman I work with. I don't know anything about her, but I see her sometimes in meetings, and wow.

She's got long, straight black hair that she usually wears pulled back, and warm brown skin. She actually looks Indian-from-India, but based on her name she's probably Hispanic. Her body is... it's not skinny and it's not heavy; it's not especially rounded or especially muscular. I guess "lithe" is the best word. She occupies space well, and while she's not exactly graceful, when she puts herself somewhere it's like that is where she is meant to be.

But the best part is her face. She has this elegant, strong bone structure; you could slice bread on her cheekbones. Her face has this sharp, alert look, like a hunter, and her nose is large and just a little crooked - the small flaw that makes it perfect, makes her look like a real person that you could talk to and know and love, rather than an airbrushed model. Her skin is smooth, but you can see where she's going to have laugh lines when she's older, and even when she's still and concentrating on something there's always the ghost of a smile on her lips.

And yeah, I always feel kinda creepy so I don't want to make it obvious that I'm looking at her, but sometimes I just can't help it. She just seems to glow golden in our dreary office, and you want to look at her as long as possible and drink it in.

Eyeliner - thick or thin line?

It depends very much on your eyes. I tried lining my top lid with just the tip and it done nothing for me as I have big almond shaped eyes. I use the flat side of the brush to draw a thicker line and wing it out a tiny bit - I dont draw it any thicker than the width of the brush, so strictly speaking it is not that thick, just thicker than using the tip.

I find the eyeliner easy to control using the flat side, using the tip too much time if you want it to look smooth and straight.

If your eyes are small I would suggest the thin line.

Try both looks one on one eye and the other on the other eye.
