Amber flashing lights on a Community First Responders car?

Hello - I am asking on behalf of a friend who doesn't have access to the internet.

When she is on call she can just her signs that call her a CFR, but she wants to know if she can use a flashing amber beacon on the top of her car WHEN AT THE SCENE (stopped & stationery) not using them like blue lights to race through traffic but instead to alert the ambulance to her location quicker.

Is it legal for her to do this?

thanks

What are the 10 best things you have done in your life?

There was a time when I started hating myself, but I realized my worth, my value, and fell in love with myself, and from that day I just love the way I am and no one can stop me from doing this.Got my priorites right, Stopped trusting the fake ones(MOST OF MY FRIENDS), and raised my self respect . and never tried any drugs , hookahs , tobaccos, alcohol due to peer pressureTook Science after class 10th due to pressure from my parents, but fell in love with it after knowing the beauty of physics, mysteries of maths and practicality of CHEMISTRY.UNPLANNED a SUCIDE ATTEMPT , after realizing that I was born to do GREAT THINGS.Started respecting and loving my parents, after I got to know that they are my only ones in this cruel and lonely world.Became a wildlife enthusiast, as I realized that people around me are even more dangerous than these petty animals.Stopped giving importance to them , who laughed on my dreamsPlanned my future life accordingly (just at the age of 16)Made very few friends, who are always there to help me , even at 3 am10. And the most important,STARTED WRITING ON QUORAI was just a silent reader for about 2 years, until I realized that I should share my experiences with the wonderful people , present here on QUORA. And after about 4 to 5 months of writing I got an invitation for QUORA PARTNER PROGRAM, due to which I started earning a decent amount and made myself little bit self dependent or say independent just at the age of 16AND THE BONUS ONEI REALIZED THAT I SHOULD MAKE MY PARENTS HAPPY AND PROUD AND I JUST GIVE MY 100% TO MAKE THIS THING COME TRUE, SO THAT ONE DAY THEY CAN PROUDLY TELL TO THE WORLD THAT I AM THEIR ONLY SON.…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………P.S. - I hope you liked my answer.NAMAN SHARMA :)

My friend says that 9/11 was an inside job, done by the global elite?

Taylor.......I want you to take a pause for a few minutes and glance over the 26 or so responses that people have given you regarding your friends statement that 911 was an inside job. Now .....take a deep breath and keep your mind's eye open for the remainder of my message to you. There was a saying that originated from Adolf Hitler that stated, the best lie and most successful LIE ( most likely to believed by an unwitting group of people ) is always the BIG lie, because the small lies are never believed, but the BIG lies are always believed because psychologically, the masses simply can't comprehend that anyone could be capable of such a monstrous LIE. I know this sounds confusing , but do you understand what I'm talking about? The power of the media propaganda in this country is so powerful ( look at what people have commented ) ...that most of the individuals who stated that your friend was nuts are completely brainwashed into thinking that 911 was caused by Muslims. Taylor....I can't get too lengthy in my explanation....but yes.....911 was an inside job, performed by rogue elements within our government. The study of 911 and the obviousness of government complicity is obvious to some people with only a little heady research and factual info, but for many , like the 20 or so people who have commented thus far, the psychological prospect that 911 could have been caused by our own government is too much to swallow.....it hurts too much.....it destroys the way they have always seen the world and their beloved USA....these people are NOT psychologically ready to accept this FACT. It reminds me of a scene in the Matrix when Morpheus is telling Neo that the people around him are so helplessly devoted to the lie that they will fight to protect the delusion they are in. It's the same here..... The overall prospect of 911 study requires a deep learning curve to fully understand it all...but without a shadow of a doubt....911 WAS an inside job. All this talk of crazy nuts, tin foil hats, UFO's is not going to affect what will always be an incontrovertable fact......that our government killed 3000 innocent people on 911....

What do police officers think of EMTs and Medics?

Just like the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines, Law Enforcement and Fire/Rescue tend to have a “thing” going on. Cops will look at Fire/Rescue and think (or say in a joking manner) “sorry to wake you from your nap, or disturb your barcalounger (sp?) movie night”. Fire/Rescue will refer to Cops as “Blue Canary's” because when they show up at something we are there making sure the scene is safe….(I worked a tanker truck roll over and asked the battalion chief why they stayed in the truck looking at me, he said, we wanted to see if we needed the air packs…{Funny, not})BUT, when the excrement is hitting the air mover, Cops and Fire/Rescue know that we have each other’s backs. We are the first to arrive, the last to leave and the ultimate professionals. When everyone else is running away from it, both Cops and Fire/Rescue are running towards it with the intent of helping people. Both careers have a weird sense of humor, that can only be shared with each other and the ER Staff at a busy hospital. We all find humor, sometimes dark humor, at the human condition. Cops and Fire/Rescue all too often know what it is like to hold a child in their arms after a horrific event. We all say good bye to our family’s and significant others on the way out the door, knowing someplace in our minds, usually a place we don’t like to look at, that we might not come back to them at the end of the shift.I was a cop, I didn’t want to be a fireman (the thought of running into a burning building wasn’t high on my list of things I wanted to do). I have a friend who is a Fire/Rescue, he thought being a cop was not something he wanted to do, BUT we both had the concept of helping people and serving the common good in the paths we chose.

What is the difference between and Ambulance officer and Paramedic?

"The biggest differences between paramedics and EMTs are the training and the scope of practice (what they are allowed to do). Basic EMTs usually receive 120 - 150 hours of training, while paramedics get anywhere from 1,200 hours to 1,800 hours of training. Paramedic programs often award two-year degrees.

The scope of practice differences between EMTs and paramedics can be summed up by the ability to break the skin. Most states do not allow basic emergency medical technicians to give shots or start intravenous lifelines. Paramedics, on the other hand, can give shots as well as use more advanced airway management devices to support breathing. Basic EMTs are usually restricted to using oxygen, glucose, asthma inhalers, and epinephrine auto-injectors (a common exception to the no-needles rule). Paramedics are trained in the use of 30-40 medications, depending on the state. "
