Been Doing Cardiovascular Exercises Lately And I Last Alot Longer In Bed

I started exercising regularly, but I hate it. Am I missing something?

Are you confident with the current results you are getting?.One thing that makes us unhappy is dissatisfaction..This happens when our goals don’t meet our results..Therefore, we need to refine our plan and make sure that all our efforts are focused on reaching the goals you really want in terms of health, mental fitness or even physical fitness..Kevin was a lost man. He really never gave even a little time to take a moment to identify his TRUE goals through writing. Yet he is a very successful man in his industry. If he thinks that something is cool he’d find amazing ways to get it or reach it. He can get anything he wants yet at night he hardly goes to sleep thinking what’s missing within his life and what’s causing his loneliness..One day, a Christmas party changed his life forever when not just one old woman but all of those who attend the party thanked him for the smiles he’s giving them all for letting them feel happy and relieved despite the big problems happening in their lives..And that’s when Kevin knew his TRUE purpose and GOAL in life. Currently, he’s a very happy man. He’s now constantly writing to his journal and day by day look over and refine his goals...What I’m saying is sometimes it’ll take time to figure out what you really WANT in your LIFE..But WRITING your thoughts and progress will help a lot on your MENTAL FITNESS..If you align the Fitness Goals CLOSEST to your HEART with your current ACTIONS surely you’ll be filling that MISSING item you’ve been feeling lately when doing your exercise..I hope my answer can help you in some way today.. Have a wonderful day to you..My name is Cat and don’t forget to SMILE cause you DESERVE to!

How to lose belly fat?(teen male)?

Hello Community of Yahoo,
I'm 6 feet and 2 inches
Weigh 81.2KG
Age: 13(turn 14 soon)
and I have a little problem.lately(over the summer and from last year), I have noticed that I've gained quite some weight, and it has been affecting me. I have gotten slower than I used to be and my stomach is big ... I can litterally see the fat..(espically when I sit down it just BULGES over my jean line). It just annoys me....everywhere is fine...I have alot of pectorial muscles...arm muscles too...but then my stomach is big. I've tried crunches but that dosen't help it just builds a layer of muscle underneath and I have troubles fighting the urges to eat junk food like frozen pizza :(. When soccer season started...I look alot bigger than my teammates(not in height but in size) and I seemed slower than I was before

Please help, I'm welcome to all tips and suggestions :) No trolling though...I had no where else to go
Thanks to those who helped me in advance :)

Can a healthy person get sick from laying in bed too much?

Sure a healthy person can get "sick" from laying in bed too much.  This is very vague, so I will just try to provide a couple medical examples with potential future complications. 1. In the literal sense of the question, if one just played in bed and didn't move ever (but somehow got enough water/nutrition to live) then you would eventually have atrophy of all of your muscles (lose muscle bulk), and would likely end up with decubitus ulcers, infections, and the like.  It would essentially be like a person with a traumatic high spinal cord injury who can't move their arms/legs.  Most people in this situation are initially "healthy" besides their acquired quadriplegia.  The resultant condition would bring a whole host of new problems that must be addressed, and they require full time medical help to sustain (along with having to be on a ventilator).2. Technically a "healthy" person could lie in bed for a long time and get a deep venous thrombosis (DVT) that could turn into a pulmonary embolus (PE) and potentially be lethal.3. Laying in bed all day and living a sedentary lifestyle is a risk factor for many different cardiovascular and metabolic disease processes that have a whole host of side effects of complications of that type of lifestyle.  If you are over-eating and living a sedentary lifestyle you will eventually become obese which is also a risk factor for many different disease processes.  Getting 15 minutes of sun (UV light) is good for your bone health and provides different factors being released that protect against depression.4. A final example would be the psychological turmoil from a person who just lays in bed all day.  Isolation and lack of social interaction would lead to a low self-esteem, low self-confidence, lack of sense of worth in the world, and start the cycle leading to deep depression.  I have witnessed this personally in a couple of my room-mates in college and it is very difficult to break the cycle. In conclusion, don't waste your life laying around in bed.  It is basically de-evolving.  Set goals and make 2016 the year you change the world (in a good way that is, no more school shootings or acts of terror)Cheers to the new year!

Why are my legs looking fatter but I've been working out more?

I workout extremely often. I do strength/toning exercises every night. I spend half an hour to forty five mins doing a combo of abs, butt & legs exercises. They seemed to be working but lately I feel like it's not the same. Maybe my body is getting bored of the same workout for months? I read that maybe I need to do more endurance exercises like running/walking instead of strength. Is that true? Also I'll be honest- I haven't eaten the healthiest lately either. I give into cravings. Eat more than I should. Any advice on any f this will be helpful. I'm leaving for vacation in 4 days & want to hurry & look atleast a little better before I go. Thanks guys.! Xx

Worried about disk re-herniation?

I just had a lumbar disectemy in late December ('09) in L4 (I think) and I all the nerve leg pain went away but not the back pain. Anyway, the back pain has been getting slowly worse and last night It kept me from sleep...I could feel a gentle nerve pain as well but it is very possible I just was being paranoid. I have been doing more exercise lately (2+ miles on the eliptical daily and other cardio) I don't know if that is what is triggering the pain but my doc said I was supposed to that stuff because it would help? What should I be concerned about? and at what point do I risk re-herniation?

...Sitting with my legs straight, for example, is very painful and other normal stuff like this...I had surgery WHY am I still in pain!??

thank you.
