Best Dog Breed That Would Exercise With Me Like Going For A Jog Track Ect .

What breed of dog has the most stamina?

"Large breed" and "stamina" don't often fit into the same sentence. :) Dogs carrying greater mass put more pressure on their joints when they run, period. There is no large breed bred for running endurance that I can think of. Even Danes were not required to run for extended periods of time when used for boar hunting...some slow-medium speed tracking, a relatively short chase and grab, and holding the animal at bay.

The Malamute (someone else mentioned) was bred to pull heavy loads at slow speeds...with lots of stopping along the way.

I would recommend a medium-sized, lighter boned dog. A well-bred Dalmatian or Siberian Husky would be good candidates, but you have to live with the dog 24/7 as well as bike with it, so you need a dog that fits your personality/trainability/grooming requirements, as well.

Siberians are not like Great Danes. They're much naughtier, and shed-ier.

You might also consider a Viszla or Weimaraner. Like Dalmatians, these dogs all have high energy, and wouldn't be the couch potato you'd expect in a mature Dane.

If you do get a Dane...even after maturity, I wouldn't make the dog trot (especially on asphalt) for more than a few miles.

ADD: Agree that a Lab might work, although I've seen more than a few Labs huffing along after their owners on a run. Many people tend to keep them obese. They are obnoxious as young dogs, but mature into very cool companions with the proper training.

What dog breed would be good for backpacking?

The Indian pariah/street dog is the best. They are everywhere you go. They have short coat that is easy to maintain, they usually eat just one or twice a day, they are active and will love the apartment life if they get enough excercise during the daily walks. they can easily adapt to different seasons.I myself have one, he is 11 years old and still pretty active, loves to sleep during the day and enjoys his morning/evening/night walks. Is a little fussy when it comes to eating boiled veggies but nothing that can't be fixed with chicken or a bit of boiled egg.Loves going on long drives, loves to run around in open/hilly areas and will chase crows for fun.

Is it cruel to have a dog jogging beside a bike ?

For a healthy adult dog of a breed or mix at speed suited to the individual dog, trained to a high standard in obedience so not yank its owner sideways when it instinctively wanted to chase a rabbit, then it can be a very good way to work of a highly active dog's energy, though a dog should have some down to track scents, explore and its environment.

For example a Dobermann could jog steadily and enjoy the exercise, but a toy breed would struggle to keep pace with the bike.

What type of dog would be best for me and my family?

Have you looked into Labradoodles or Goldendoodles? (They're not technically a breed, but mixes between Labradors and Poodles, and Golden Retrievers and Poodles)
Poodles are really intelligent and energetic dogs and they have a coat which does not shed which means that allergy sufferers are less likely to have a reaction. Golden Retrievers are playful, friendly, outgoing, and gentle dogs. Mix a poodle and golden retriever together (Goldendoodle) and more often than not you get a happy, friendly, sweet-natured and energetic dog with fur that doesn't shed! You get a similar outcome with a Labradoodle.

If you're not interested in a mixed/"designer" breed, than you should perhaps look into a Standard Poodle or a Portuguese Water Dog. Neither breeds shed and they are both energetic and playful, which I think is something your family probably needs. c:

Are Huskies good deer-hunting companions?

Huskies tend to be very friendly and while they can have a high prey drive, that would apply to smaller animals and I don't think to deer. They're not supposed to be dog aggressive in the slightest, so if his dog is she's likely not very well bred anyway, not to mention that his dogs are getting far too little exercise and stimulation and probably (sadly) aren't good for much - even what they are supposed to do, which is pull sleds.

Being closely related to wolves has absolutely nothing to do with treeing coons, as that is to benefit the human and wouldn't do the dog any good at all. As far as Huskies go, I'd really not think they'd be much good at hunting at all - they're not quiet, they'd probably do best in a group instead of alone, the temperament isn't quite right, etc. etc. With careful training *maybe* but it's just not the best bet. Enjoy your dog; your brother sounds jealous.

One of the cool thing about mutts is that, even though they aren't predictable, they can have surprising traits that make them have hidden talents. It's fun to see what they'll be good at and then use that to your advantage :)

I want a dog who can be affectionate, caring, lovable and must be my best friend. Which breed should I look for?

Any dog breed will be affectionate, caring, lovable and definitely will be your best friend. So before choosing a breed, you need to take many things under consideration. Here is the classification of dog breeds according to their size (I will only name the most common ones) :Small Breed: Dog breeds such as Pug, Lhasa Apso, Pomeranian, Shih Tzu, Maltese, Yorkshire Terrier, Cocker Spaniel, English and French Bulldog, Beagle etc. These dogs are for companionship and you should not expect it to defend you against intruders. They mostly do not require much exercise and can easily suit in an apartment. They will eat less food but their overall caring can be little bit on the expensive side because they will need frequent vet attention, professional grooming etc.Large Breed: Dog breeds such as Labrador Retriever, Golden Retriever, German Shepherd, Boxer, Siberian Husky, Doberman, Rottweiler, Cane Corso, Pitbull type dogs etc. They will be pretty large in size and you will have to give then plenty of exercise to keep them fit and healthy. They will also consume large amount of food as compared to the small breeds. Large breed dogs will suit in apartment life if you give them good amount of physical and mental exercise.Giant Breed: Great Dane, English Mastiff, Dogue De Bordeaux, Bullmastiff, Saint Bernard, Newfoundland etc., come under Giant breed. They will be larger than the large breed dogs and will of course consume larger amount of food. They can also suit apartment life because Great Danes and Mastiffs are inactive indoors and are couch potatoes. They will also require less amount of exercise but will consume lot of dog food in a day.If you are a new owner than breeds like Labrador Retriever, Golden Retriever, Beagle, Pug, Saint Bernard etc., are good for first time owners and they are easy to handle.Breeds like German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Doberman, Mastiffs requires extensive socialisation and rigorous training. The owner must be able to develop a leadership role and maintain strict rules or the dog will try to dominate you.Take time and read about each breed carefully and then decide which breed to go for. Having a dog is a lifetime commitment. You cannot throw away a dog if you cannot handle it.I hope this helped.
