Best Guitars For Under 600$

What is the best guitar under $300?

In terms of pure instrument value and quality, it’s hard to beat Ibanez and Yamaha in the bargain basement new instrument segment. In terms of resale value, it’s easier to unload instruments that look like Fenders and Gibsons, so Squier and Epiphone do a little better at resale. Please note, though, all instruments in this segment are tough to get more than $100 for when you sell or trade them.I would suggest getting a used instrument. For your $300 budget you can probably score an instrument that cost $500–$800 new. Then you can very likely turn around and sell it again for almost exactly what you paid for it when you move up.

Which are the best used guitar amplifiers I could get for a price under $600?

Fender Hotrod Deluxe. 40 Watts. Can be extemely clean at high volumes or crunched as desired. Very flexible. Fantastic tone. The go-to guitar amp in my studio. And it's all tube with real spring reverb. Modeling amps suck.

What is the best guitar amp for under 600 Australian dollars?

I’ll recommend a Boss Katana 50 or 100.Both have great reviews. The 100 has a few more features that a 50 doesn’t, like support for a effects loop, support for a GA-FC foot switch (but the 50 supports a FD-6 and FS-7 foot switch), line out to separate speaker/PA, etc.But the 50 is from what I hear, a very good amp and finding it used will save you enough money to get an FS-6.I hear good things about the Fender Champion, but there is one glaring drawback: it can’t plug into a computer USB without an audio interface, which will run you an addition $100+ minimum, pushing the overall price tag to $300 USD/$425AUD.Both katanas will plug into a computer. My Yamaha THR10C plugs into a computer. Not sure why Fender left that feature off the Champion. There is a 50 at a local reseller for $150ish I’m going to check out with my next check. The 50 is $325 AUD and the 100 is $510 AUD brand new.

$600 to spend on an acoustic guitar?

Don't get hung up on brand. It really makes zero difference. For $600 you can definitely get a solid top acoustic and if you shop carefully you can get a guitar that is ALL solid tone-wood Top, Sides and Back as well.

The key here is PLAYING the instrument you're going to purchase -that means finding a local guitar shop ( go to where the pro players in your area do business) - talk to them about what you want and see what they have. A good shop will do a professional set-up and not let something out the door that is not set up correctly.

You will get MUCH more instrument in your price range buying a pre-owned (used / trade-in, etc.) guitar than a brand-new one - that's what I'd look at first..

NEVER buy an acoustic instrument sight-unseen - so that means don't buy online. Good luck.
